I always have a great experience here! The atmosphere is welcoming, upbeat, and just an all-around enjoyable place to dine. Our server was absolutely amazing — you can truly tell she loves what she does. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and genuinely warm, but she nailed it. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great service and a great vibe! ASK FOR LACY

Stopped by Pedro’s Tacos & Tequila Bar in Slidell for a late lunch around 3:40 PM and sat outside on the patio with my dog. The atmosphere was great—TVs, fans, and a relaxed vibe even though it was a bit warm and breezy with some stormy weather rolling in. I ordered the tacos plate with a side of guacamole and sour cream. The beef tacos were served in crispy hard shells, seasoned really well, and absolutely delicious.
It wasn’t too crowded at that time, which made the experience even more laid-back. My server, Jose, was friendly and attentive, and got my order out fast. Several people came out to say hi—including to my dog—which added to the welcoming vibe. The patio is a great spot to relax and enjoy a solid meal with your pup.

This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. Marilyn was amazing. She was very friendly and attentive. The service is always great! I just wish the food was consistent. I find the salsa changes at times and so does the rice.

This place is better than before now that’s its under new management. New servers, my server was absolutely perfect. Her name was Keyla F. On notthshore/airport rd. Slidell,la. Come get some good food and ask for Keyla and give her a good tip!

Where do I even begin? Pedro’s in Slidell is hands down the absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Honestly, if I could give it less than one star, I absolutely would.
First of all, they messed up our food three times. Not once, not twice – THREE times. How does that even happen? We ordered very specific items, and they just couldn’t get it right. And it wasn’t just minor mistakes. They were giving us completely wrong orders, and when we pointed it out, the response was not an apology, but an attitude.
Speaking of attitude, the manager Lacy, was a nightmare. Rude, condescending, and unbelievably aggressive. Instead of trying to fix their mistakes, the manager made us feel like we were the problem. Then, they had the audacity to charge us for food we didn’t even get. We didn’t get what we ordered, but they still expected us to pay for it! Even worse, they tried to serve us old, stale food like it was totally acceptable. Disgusting.
I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. The staff clearly doesn’t care about quality or customer satisfaction. Don’t waste your time or money here – there are plenty of other places in Slidell that actually know how to treat customers and serve edible food.
Avoid Pedro’s at all costs! This place deserves to be out of business.

The atmosphere, food, and service was wonderful. The guacamole and salsa sauce was fresh. We love this place. Our waitress was extremely polite. The total cost for 3 people was less than $60.

I was skeptical of this place, because it now occupied the spot of one was one of my favorite restaurants. I tried. I can’t pronounce the name but your three tacos with some sauces and some broth. They were actually wonderful. The spices or Madewell and the super broth was wonderfully spicy. The waitress was nice, helpful, polite, courteous, and professional, something you don’t see Carmen anymore.
