This establishment is a pleasant venue for watching sports, although the wait staff appears to require additional support when attending to tables outside of the bar area. Following multiple visits, I have consistently felt neglected. The food portions are generous, so it is unnecessary to order extra. Their nachos are a highlight, but it is disappointing that additional sour cream, guacamole, and other toppings incur an extra charge when only a single serving spoon is provided. My friends ordered and enjoyed the large pitcher of frozen tequila in strawberry and peach flavors. They stated that it was a good price for the higher quality tequila option. Lastly, I suggest seating outside by the water.

Tried Pedro’s in Ridgeland and it was great! The chips were fresh and the salsa had great flavor. My chicken fajitas came out sizzling, with tender meat, fresh veggies, and tasty sides like guacamole and pico. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere make this a solid new spot for Mexican food in the area.

The service was slow it took 12 min for someone to come say hi to us, and the restaurant was empty. I feel that is overpriced for the portion size, look like a lot of meet but it had more onions than meet.

The atmosphere was the best part of my experience. The food was mid and the service wasn’t consistent. Another thing that turned me from the service was them taking a tip off of my card. I didn’t appreciate that. I feel like if it’s not given don’t take it!!!

Only thing that happen was the waitress did not come back to table. We had to keep flagging her down to get refills. Other then that the food was on point.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!! One of the WORST experiences at a restaurant and FOOD! The prices are very expensive and you get child portion of food. A taco is $7 smh and the service was super slow; took forever to get food and it looked like trash!

We ordered fajitas and just wanted the lettuce etc on separate plate from beans and rice. The server brought the onions, bell peppers and meat on plates and not on skillet. Definitely a luggage barrier.

The head cook or manager came to table was very rude and in the end told the server to not allow any customers to make changes to their order!!! Has he lost his mind.

Mind you for the meat we had 3 strips of chicken, 3 strips of steak and 3 strimp for $25. I was so shocked I forgot to take a photo!!!

Do not go to this restaurant because there are many other Mexican restaurants with much better service and food! And that manager need to learn customer service because he NEVER apologized but was rude!

I really wanted to like Pedro’s Mexican, but the experience just didn’t deliver. The food quality was a miss across the board. The chicken tasted diced and dry, the steak felt like it was tossed together with no flavor, the shrimp were tiny and honestly looked like the pre-cooked kind from the freezer aisle. The nachos? Barely any cheese, and what was there wasn’t even melted — more like someone sprinkled it on and hoped for the best.

Service didn’t help either. The bartenders seemed overwhelmed even though there were only about 3–6 people at the bar, so getting attention or refills was a whole production. Not ideal when you’re trying to have a good time.

Definitely expect better quality and service for the price. This spot has potential, but they need to tighten up big time.

They have the most amazing dark salsa and bean dip that is served complementary with your hot tortilla chips. I had two margaritas. One top shelf and one organic. They were both stout and not too sweet. I had the fried chimichanga. Very delicious. The prices are pretty are high but so is the quality of food and drinks. Betania was our bartender/server. Very friendly and easy to talk to. She definitely earns every dollar she makes.

Great atmosphere. Im her me are around 2:30 on a Friday. Not crowded. The food was delicious I had the Birria Romen it was delicious! I also had the Watermelon Jalapeño Margarita..THE DRINK IS STRONG lol..I am tipsy writing this review…I can only imagine if I had 2 more drinks .
Service was a little slow..but I’m not mad about it as I’m not in a rush. I would most definitely return but in the day time..they do not serve callos or horchata hopefully they would add something to the menu in the future. Overall I recommend this restaurant!

We went here on a Thursday evening. The place was not crowded, so I was puzzled at being seated by the kitchen door, after passing many empty tables NOT near the kitchen door. The waitress arrived soon, took our drink order, and came back after a few minutes to take our food order. The three of us ordered a small queso dip ($6!) 3 ground beef tacos, one ground beef burrito, and a chicken taco salad. Two of us had one mixed drink each; the third person had water.
The customary basket of chips was small, and the accompanying dips were bland. The three entrees arrived pretty quickly-but still no sign of the mixed drinks. Sadly, we found the food to be very bland; almost tasteless. Eventually the drinks arrived and they were not much better.
The wait staff was friendly; no complaints there. But the bill, including tip and the $3 surcharge for paying with a credit card, came to over $110!
We know times are hard, especially for the restaurant industry, but we’d have had tastier food and saved $80 if we’d gone to Taco Bell. I hope others have better experiences, but we’ll call this a one and done for us. – Gigi
