I like this mi la cay location compared to others. Generous toppings and chewy noodles! Cash only though and no ac even though its warm.

We went in holding a small, non-barking puppy. It was very hot outside and it was too young to keep in the car. We went inside and this server saw the puppy and told us to get out. We agreed to go after our friend in the restroom came outside. He kept staring at us after we said that and I clarified again and he gave the nastiest look with the nastiest tone and told us he knows. We left without another word and all over a non barking puppy smh

If you are looking for lo mein noodle place this is the spot! Bring a Vietnamese fluent friend if able 🙂
I would recommend ordering the dry noodle dish to start, that way you can experience the raw flavor before adding the soup based in (soup is included). BBQ ducks is my favorite protein there, they cook it well and add alot of flavor to the dish.
Of course all chinese dish comes slightly on the saltier and slightly oily, so it isn’t for everyone. However the restaurant really reminds me of homeland Vietnam streets when it’s busy!
Overall definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I really don’t know why people are buying rice noodles and then expect pho restaurants level perfections.
Mi La Cay is a Viet inspired Chinese cuisine, lo mein and rice dish are their specialty.
Also, they keep the price low by doing cash only, like most family ran asian restaurants.

Best noodles in OC. For price this place is awesome. I had the mi la cay kho and it was really satisfying. The noodles were very chewy which is a really good thing. The bowl may be small the the food will fill you up. Would go here again next time I visit SoCal!

Started eating here over 20 years ago, back when my family lived in Orange County. Most of us have since moved out of state but every time we go back to visit Little Saigon, we eat here. The mi kho (dry egg noodles) is my favorite and it’s still just as good as when I was little. The only difference is the restaurant used to be a lot busier on the weekends. Hope their business isn’t declining, as we love it so much. We were back just a couple weeks ago and the owners still remembered our family! You can’t beat that service.

Best Dry Egg Noodle (Mi Lay Cay Kho) in town. Feels like dinner in mom’s kitchen.

A very good place to have noodles. Not sure if it is associated with the one on Golden West, but this place has very similar noodles. I recommend the “mi kho dau hao” which is dried noodles that comes with a piece of their fried chicken, a few popcorn shrimps, BBQ pork and a sweet/savory sauce. It comes with a bowl of soup on the side. Service here is decent. Overall, highly recommended.

I have been a customer here for more than 2 decades. Noodles are good. My usual order is barbeque duck noodle. I recommend wontons soup here.
