I haven’t even eaten my food yet, but the people aren’t working in here were so good and so kind and I’m not used to that from fast, casual or fast food places. I took a picture because I was too embarrassed ask their names. There was also a Latina lady cooking I couldn’t get pictured. Whoever owns this business please know that you have three people who are working so hard. It was dead when I walked in and they were cleaning and making sure that everything was clean and immediately greeted me.. I appreciate good workers!

A convenient Taco fast food joint located right off the highway. Counter service or drive-thru ordering.

Found this spot through Google when searching local taco spots. The food is decent with many Mexican dish options. The Famous Fish tacos are pretty good and I recommend over the carne asada. The chips that come with a fiesta meal (chips and salsa added) are okay but they don’t look or taste like fresh. Rather, they look and taste like store-bought. The rice and beans that came with a meal were tasty. However the portion sizes of the rice and beans could be increased. The fresh mild salsa is really good. The bean and cheese burrito was good.

There are plenty of places to sit down. Some with really nice window views looking at the small airplanes take off from the runaway across the street. It can be a bit noisy inside the dining area with a TV and different music going on.

Customer service was really friendly. Sergio welcomed us with a smile.

The location is somewhat shared with a gas station so it’s convenient if you need to fill-up. The restroom could use some attention.

$13 for three “potato tacos” is wild especially when they’re literally frozen hash browns slapped into dry tortillas. No seasoning, no toppings, no sauce, no effort. This felt less like food and more like an insult. If you’re going to serve cafeteria-level potatoes, at least don’t charge taco-truck prices. Absolute joke.

Pedros is good. I have heard good things about this place from local people from Oceanside and I have to say that it just about met my expectations. The food is tasty. Is it the best taco I have ever had. No. Is it cheap and decent meal that gets the job done. Yes. I would recommend trying it if you are hungry, and need a quick bite to eat.

Nachos – 5/5. Nachos were probably the best thing there.
Fish Tacos – 4/5. Pretty tasty.
Chicken Tacos – 3/5 – Soggy and chicken chunks are variable. Definitely have had better.

It’s not real Mexican food. My son and I got the fish tacos and they taste like frozen fish sticks that have been fried with old tortillas. We both felt sick within 30mins of eating them, so we won’t be going back but if you like more of the junk food stuff this could be a good place for that. I kind of had a feeling when I realized their hot sauce is in packets.

Used to be my favorite burrito but the taste seems to have gone downhill a little. They still make a great California burrito but it wasn’t legendary this last time.

Stopped here for some carne asada street tacos after a long day of moving jobs. The place is pretty lowkey if you like to eat alone, and there is ample seating both inside and outside the store. Looking forward to stopping by again, and always ask for the hottest sauce!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem in Oceanside!
Don’t let the modest setup — attached to a gas station — fool you. This place delivers seriously authentic Mexican food that punches way above its weight. We tried the fish tacos and chicken tacos, and the quality was outstanding: bold chipotle sauce, real shredded chicken, and flavorful, traditional refried beans you’d expect from an old-school kitchen.

The portions were generous, the flavors layered and satisfying, and the service was warm and attentive. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is one of those spots that stays with you. Highly recommended for anyone craving real, no-frills Mexican food.

Known for their famous fish tacos, we decided to give it a try, they were “good” tacos & tasty… BUT they might want to consider cooking the tortilla on the grill bc they were very moist & very white as if uncooked & THAT definitely takes away from adding good flavor. The red salsa is spicier than the green (I used both but prefer green here). Service was Ok but definitely could’ve been better… & I’m pretty simple I dont ask for much, just basic common courtesy.
