We had dinner here with friends. My friends enjoyed their meal. I ordered El rodeo, the beef was dry but the beans and rice were good. Price was reasonable and the service was good.

Service was ok, but the food and margaritas were subpar. Margaritas tasted like a mix that had been sitting in a plastic jug. Soft tacos were meat in a tortilla with a little garnish of lettuce and tomatoes on the side.

Higher prices lower quality. using ground beef as a filler in steak chimi’s is a no go. best place in henry county for almost 20 years but its taken a major down turn

Definitely not worth the money. Food was absolutely awful. They definitely need to upgrade their Team of waitresses that they have. And I wouldn’t waste my time going to eat there ever again

We had the taco salad special. At first glance, it looked small but turned out to be just right for my husband and me. The chips were crispy, not too thick. Salsa was medium consistency and heat, very good. Although they were busy, service was prompt and friendly. Excellent experience.

My family and I have been coming here for a very long time, today’s service was just…..sad. it has never taken 30 minutes on an extremely slow night to get food. We had to explain to our server what our orders were twice just to get the check 20 minutes later.

It was kind of disappointing. The chalupas were soggy and I didn’t care for the mix of toppings. We were seated near the kitchen and they were running a vacuum or blender most of the time we were there. This had been a favorite restaurant until today.

Awesome restaurant that has really stood the test of time! The food and service has always been good. Edit: 5 years later and I stand strong by this review.

Local and long time patron here. This place use to be great. USE TO BE. Tonight was the last night we’ll return. We’re weekly customers who always tip 20%+ you’d think service would be better because of this but it’s not. They raised their prices, but the food and service has declined immensely. The waiters are rude, and don’t do their jobs. You have to practically beg and make a scene to get service. Most Fridays recently, we order and wait at least 20-30 min for our food. Even if it’s a slow night. The food they serve isn’t being cooked to order so it should not take that long. You get one drink and have to pray for a refill because the wait staff doesn’t actually wait on you. They’re just terrible. Don’t waste your money here. The area has way better Mexican restaurants. We order the same thing every time and both of our checks were $5 more than they usually are. Why raise your price yet still provide terrible service and COLD FOOD!? Lupe (the owner) doesn’t care and it shows. If you complain about his employees he blames you for their bad service and then refuses service to you. I have seen it done multiple times. If you want good Mexican food go elsewhere. Go a few miles up the road or into martinsville. This placed has declined so much and should have shut down years ago.
