My first time here, but won’t be my last. As you will see in my pictures their lunch burrito is huge! It’s not filled with a bunch of lettuce and a little meat it’s filled with everything. I did chicken, and it comes with rice, beans, tomatoes, and lettuce. With cheese sauces and sour cream across the top. I am quite surprised at how good this burrito tastes, I was not expecting this when walking into Pedro’s

This was one of the worst customer service / food experiences I’ve had in a while. I ordered over the phone and got through the whole order then find out they have no salsa, no queso..cool cool..I get their $5.25 guac, they tell me 20 min. I get there a little over 20, I pay and am told it’ll be a few more, which is fine. But then I see salsa in the fridge. I politely ask the lady, who was the same one I spoke to what it was and she says “taco sauce” I’m like okay well can I please have some of this for my chips…it proceeds to be another 30 minutes for my food. No updates or acknowledgement of this when I get it. I’m confused bc I don’t see the nice big bag of chips most places give and ask if the chips are there. She says they are in a box and walks away. I look and it’s barely any chips. I wait in line to ask if I can please have another side of chips. She says “$2.50”…I get out the money and was like “you know after I waited almost an hour for a Togo order when you told me 20 minutes, youd think you could throw me some chips”. And left. Then I get home and there’s shells on every single shrimp, the chips are stale, and the guac wasn’t even edible bc it was filled with onion. The food also has like a creole vibe—not Mexican spices. Will never go back. Genuinely surprised they stay in business. Honestly a little curtesy would have stopped this review but there was just no redeeming part of the customer service or the meal.

This is a solid little “ dive “ for Mexican food. I’ve eaten here before but this should be on my regular lunch rotation.
I love a good Torta and this did not disappoint, loaded on good bread.
On this day they were sold out of Tamales and Lengua. So I deferred to Tripe for my tacos and was glad I did. Best tripe tacos I’ve had ad they made them crispy like cracklin’s.
Would recommend, a lot of people do carry-out.

Came in to an empty restaurant. Ordered 5 tacos and a quesadilla. Waited 30 minutes without anyone checking on us. Caught the waitress walking by and asked when food would be out. She said another 20 minutes. Couldn’t tell you how the food was as we had to leave. Won’t be back

This little restaurant is a favorite of mine. I love the Mexican Tacos. I aways get extra cilantro! It was so mouthwatering that I forgot to take a picture before diving in

Great place to eat good prices, good food, generous portions. They also serve American breakfast classics. The chips they serve are small. The right size for dipping.

Stopped by for lunch at what seemed like the peak of lunch hour. Service was lacking and slow. Food was fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced.

I always enjoy eating here! I only go here when they have the what used to be $1 taco but are now $1.50 taco special, so take that into account for my review. For the price of the special the tacos are pretty good depending on what you get. The pork (al pastor) tacos were a bit lacking in seasoning. I provided a pic below. I’d recommend the steak tacos! The steak is seasoned well and if you like your tacos Mexican style (cilantro & onion) you’ll enjoy the flavor! This place has a LOT of other food choices, including breakfast but I have not tried any of it. The only other items I’d suggest are the chicken quesadilla and french fries! ~Ya I suggested fries from a Mexican restaurant haha! The former comes with refried beans in it so order accordingly. Trust me, the French fries are pretty tasty. Give’em a try!

My husband and I went here for dinner yesterday. It was a terrible experience. We ordered the chicken alambre and the steak alambre. first, if they were both made incorrect, missing the cheese that was supposed to be on them. So our server took both of our plates and returned to the kitchen. They were brought back to us with some melted mozzarella cheese. Then our server left. As we were getting ready to eat we realized that our dishes were missing the bacon that was supposed to be cooked with the meat and vegetables. Had to wait 10 minutes till the server reappeared to the dining area. But at time our food was cold. I explain to her that it was missing and she said oh, I can just bring you some slices of bacon. Explain to her, that’s not how this dish is made. Supposed to be cooked with the meat and the peppers and onions. She refused to remake both of the dishes. By the time she brought out the slices of cooked bacon, we had decided just to pack up our cold food and take it home and reheat it. This was our first time there and will definitely be our last time there. Terrible customer service.

Amazing Mexican Food & Service All Day!
This family-run restaurant is a gem! They serve their full menu all day, which is a huge plus. The food is incredibly flavorful – you can tell they use fresh ingredients and authentic recipes. We especially loved the combo fajitas and the mushroom burger. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable, making it one of the most delicious and cheapest restaurants I’ve found in South Bend. But what really sets this place apart is the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend for a delicious and convenient meal!
