Hit the spot thanks guys this trucker is tankful I’m a big steak guy and this steak was one of the best I have had in a long time.
Hands down better then black bear and some California steak houses I been 2 the sides were cooked to liking also.
I had my order to go when serving my salad the dining area was amazing,and all staffing were presentable in attire and organized as well.

I heard great things but it was mediocre at bast. Great salad bar likened tothe days of old and the service was ok. The steaks we not seasoned and the cuts were food lion grade. Sorry but I was hoping for better. The place was like it was ina time loop, left in the 70’s.

Worst experience here ever. We’ve been here a couple dozen times. Generally, there are only a handful of servers and theres a short wait to be seated. Friday night, 11/21/2025 was an exception. Theres was no wait. We were seated almost immediately. There seemed to be a full waitstaff. Our waiter arrived promptly and took our drink orders, came back and took our food orders (sirloin steak medium, fries, both kids ordered chicken tenders and fries and my son added French onion soup). Simple order. After about 20 minutes, my son’s tenders were brought…then nothing. After another 20+ minutes a flagged down our waiter to ask about our food and informed him that we came to eat as a family and I expected fresh food to be brought for my son, as he hadn’t touched his since he was waiting to eat together. A few minutes later my order came out and I again said I expected fresh food for my son. The server took his plate and went over to the grill. After nearly 5 more minutes I walked over to the grill myself where the waiter was (my son’s plate in front of him) and told him I needed to speak with a supervisor immediately. I went back to my seat and the cook/manager(?) came over. I (agitated) filled him in on the situation to which he (nonchalantly) replied “yeah youre right”. That was it for me. I stood up, told him dont bother, we’re leaving and had the kids gather their things. We headed to the door where the same cook was waiting to escort us out with a final “and dont come back” comment as we left.

We’ve been coming to SOB for years but never tried the Peddler. We ate here recently and really enjoyed it. Our server Jessica was very friendly and attentive. She was quite busy but did a great job!
The salad bar was tasty with lots of options. My husband said the steak was excellent quality! My shrimp was good but under seasoned. I’d definitely eat here again!

For me, this is a long overdue return to the Peddler since the “remodel”
I ordered the 12oz Ribeye
Cooked medium rare and a sweet potato
And the tea, it’s pretty good
The restaurant was quiet but busy, the food fantastic, the service attentive and friendly.
Of course they only serve Pepsi products, but I won’t hold that against them.
I would recommend a visit,
However, plan accordingly, they do not open until 5 pm

Food was awesome! Service was great. Wife had surf & turf I had the best chicken strips I’ve ever found. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Mixed drinks, perfect! This place is more of a high end restaurant. So might be a bit pricey for a big family but perfect for a date night or romantic dinner for two.
Please dress appropriately. It’s NOT a Denny’s lol. $135 for food + $30 tip.

Food was great but for the price point I expected the steaks to be thicker than the 1/4 inch we received. Too thin for me. Taste was wonderful and the service was excellent.

Nice place to go to get a really good steak and salad. Salad bar is super fresh. Never had a bad meal here. We drive two and a half hours just to enjoy a nice dinner.
