Perfect little restaurant right beside the Raccoon River Trail. Reasonable prices and just the right quantity of food. Friendly and helpful service. They also have different rotating specials and wide variety of ice cream treats.

They forgot my ranch and fries and tried to treat me like I lied about them forgetting it? I told them they should probably write down orders fully so they dont forget things I have been coming here for quite some time and have never had anybody tell me I was wrong for their mistake. Will think twice about returning.

Nice place and excellent food, but they obviously forgot my order. My receipt said I ordered at exactly 12:00 noon, got my food at 12:30 and the cook apologized for being “new at cooking”. Not cool when you get an hour for lunch.

We are from MN, and we stop in when we come to Iowa to ride the bike trails. Today is our third time here. Food is excellent, the shakes are delicious, the staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable! We’ll be back!

It was Saturday, May 4th, 2024. My son and I are training to ride the Katy Trail. This is our first time bike packing and we chose the Raccoon River Valley Trail for our maiden voyage. We had just completed the detour between Redfield and Linden (the trail was being being replaced with new concrete). We arrived in Panora and saw Pedal-in. It was 2:58pm when we made it to the door. On the door is a sign “closing at 3:00 pm”. We walked inside and asked how firm the time was because we had ridden from West Des Moines and had planned on eating here. A woman stated that she did not mess with cyclists and that she would feed us. It was our lucky day. We both had a cheese burger with curley fries and it was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing with a modern yet 50’s feeling. Highly recommend visiting this establishment. Thank you for caring for the cycling community. I hope you know how much we appreciated your establishment and especially you and your staff for feeding the two of us. This stop in our adventure is one of the best highlights that we talk about and tell others about.

Their food is good, but yesterday I ordered a patty melt without thousand islands, it still came with thousand island. I ate it anyways but it didn’t sit well with my stomach. It was good, but the thousand island was just a little heavy. Besides that, I love Pedal-In! The workers are super kind, especially the one worker with dark brown&blue hair. She had the biggest brightest smile!

First time visit. Nice staff , atmosphere. Prices are a bit high and would like to see the cook be more sanitary, no gloves. My wife and I both some food poisoning from what we ordered.

We waited over 30 minutes for our meal and another lady waited over 45 minutes. There was one person that was able to cook. Also, staff were more concerned with what they were going to eat and serving a friend. Disappointing since we always try to support local.

I met a friend for lunch. It was a very busy place, but our food was served hot & fresh! My Rueben Sandwich had the most meat I’ve ever had on a Rueben. The saurkraut was amazingly tangy and my leftovers warmed up nicely in the air fryer.

I’m not at all complaining about their icecream/shakes. Many times we’ve gone there and our orders were either wrong, didn’t taste good/bland, or cold. Once I got chicken fried stake and the potatoes were cold and so was the gravy and corn. A few days ago we went I got a cheeseburger and in all honesty I’d prefer a plan McDonalds burger over these. My boyfriend had also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and received a very bland grilled chicken sandwich. Also there ketchup is always rancid it smells fermented and tastes awful. There’s been several other instances. Me and my boyfriend got a cheeseburger, cheeseballs, 1 drink, and one chicken sandwich. Just between us it cost 30$. That’s outrageous I get times are rough but it shouldn’t cost that much for like 7 cheeseballs and a crappy chicken sandwich and burger.
