I had a 10/10 experience. There is nothing that I would change! The vibe of the restaurant feels comfortable and homey, yet clean, a place that I would want to actually stay and take my time and eat in versus take out. The menu has a lot of great options. The pizza was incredible, I only have positive things to say about it- It stayed level when holding it (not floppy or greasy), the flavor was perfectly balanced and fresh ingredients. We got the Hot Hive. I was sad when I had to finish my last bite lol. And the service was perfect- welcoming, friendly and comfortable. I absolutely cannot wait to try all of the other pizzas and gelato next time, and so happy that this is close by! Can’t wait to come back!

Slice pizzas! This should be a norm at every place. Big fire oven! Pepperoni slice was crispy, cheesy, with some real good papperoni. Would definitely come back. Staff were great and welcoming. Gelato was also delicious and richin flavor.

The food at Pedal Car Pizza was great, came out hot and and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The service was great, and the atmosphere was really nice. It is also in a nice spot, making it great for a day trip.

The pizza was too good! We got the “All Meat” and “Smokey Mushroom” pizza. We were really surprised by how good the Smokey Mushroom tasted; the mushrooms tasted so organic. The gelato was also shockingly delicious. Jaw-dropping. They get their gelato from a dairy farm in Sonoma (one of the staff was stating). It really did taste super natural and “homemade.” (Only downside is that they closed at 8pm when we went (Tuesday)…) Absolutely recommend this place!!

My daughter and I had to try the new Pedal Car Pizza. It was all over Instagram, so we had to check it out! It did not disappoint! We started off with a good size fresh house salad that we shared. Then the star of the show showed up! The HOT HIVE pizza! Garlic jalapeño ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, jalapeños and a drizzle of hot honey! We both loved the flavor and the thin crust. We probably could have eaten an entire pizza to ourselves, but we shared this one! We didn’t feel tired afterwards or stuffed. It was just right! Customer service was a . Thank you, Ainsley for being so friendly! I highly recommend Pedal Car and Gelato Pizza at 222 Vernon Street in Roseville. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stumbled upon Pedal Car Pizza & Gelato, a new gem in downtown Roseville, thanks to Google—and we’re so glad we gave it a try! As of August 8, 2025, they’ve only been open for two weeks, but they’re already serving up some seriously impressive artisan pizza.
From the handmade dough to the traditional wood-fired oven and creative seasonal toppings, everything reflects quality and care. The crust was fresh and flavorful—crisp on the outside, tender inside—and the ingredients tasted vibrant and thoughtfully paired.
And don’t skip dessert! They also serve excellent gelato. I tried the Olallieberry cheesecake flavor with bits of graham cracker mixed in—it was outstanding. Rich, tangy, perfectly creamy, and the graham cracker added just the right touch of crunch and nostalgia. I’ll definitely be back for more.
It’s a family-owned business, and we even got to meet the owner—friendly, passionate, and clearly proud of what he’s building. Maybe you’ll get to meet him too.
Pro tip: Get there early on the weekends. Seating is limited, and tables fill up fast—especially once word gets out about how good this place is.

Service was very friendly and quick. Food was delicious! Smoky mushroom pizza with arugula was spot on, but the seasonal salad today was top notch! Cubed roasted beets on a bed of ricotta whipped with honey, all topped with chopped pistachios and a light dusting of orange zest really brought the flavors popping out. The gelato was also perfect complement to the lunch. This place is a total winner, and at a reasonable price point. We’re looking forward to going back!

Ok. Swedish pizza with red sauce, ham, mozzarella, curry and bananas … holly smokes that is really good the sweetness of the banana compliments the curry. Well done.
