The food here was alright! My wife and I used our meal plan here. It’s nice that it was included because it was a pretty decent place to eat. The employees and staff here were not friendly. The interior here was dark and seemed kinda muggy or just out of place. They had outside seating though which was nice! The food, like I said was pretty good. If I didn’t have the meal plan, I don’t think I would pay full price for it given the other options around but it’s definitely worth checking out if you have the meal plan and need a healthy hearty meal while out and about.

High noon at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, and I’m staging a tactical intervention on a Double Bacon Barbecue Cheeseburger.
The good? Those beef patties were thick and had a nice flame-charred wrap. The American cheese was so well-melted it had essentially “bonded” with the top bun, we’re talking a permanent structural fusion here. I was able to peel it back for a sauce-injection, but the cheese wasn’t budging. No matter; in the frontier, it all tastes the same.
The burger itself was a bit on the bland side (could’ve used a sprinkle of seasoning from the cast), but the Coca-Cola Cherry BBQ sauce rode in like the cavalry—absolutely fantastic just lacked in quantity. Pro tip: Get the Queso Fries. They are the real MVP of the Magic Kingdom.
My wife had the Citrus Chicken Rice Bowl and, between bites, gave it the seal of approval: “It’s good.” High praise for a long day in the park! The real challenge was the “Tall Tale” of the wait time. Despite the lines stretching out to the sunset, some of the ordering lanes were closed. Apparently, the rest of the crew was out searching for the missing seasoning.4/5 stars for the sauce and patties.

Good food and great portions. Double bacon bbq cheese burger was very tasty. The size of the bbq pork was perfect to split. Overall a great lunch.

The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and cafe is very large, with a lot of seating. Most of the area is air conditioned which is nice in the Summer. The food is order at the counter and we found was pretty average. The decor is old western style and well done. It’s also a nice spot to sit and rest or use the bathrooms.

Had food here before and it’s gone down hill. Food was absolutely terrible. Nothing tasted like it should. Don’t waste your Disney savings. Skip this one. If it’s empty, that’s a sign that I neglected.

Very nice location for a restaurant. I personally think this is a very spacious place to dine for lunch. My favorite thing here is the moose corn. It literally looks so realistic to an elote street corn. But instead is just a stunning dessert. I’m amazed.

Tried the plant-based rice bowl at Pecos Bill and it was tasty! The portion is huge — easily sharable between two people. It comes with four decent Impossible meatballs, a generous serving of pinto beans and rice, and a good lime crema. Free hot sauce packets are a nice touch if you want extra spice. The outdoor seating area was nice and quiet, which made for a relaxing break in the late afternoon. Mobile order pick-up was a bit slow — we waited about 15 minutes for two bowls — but the cast members were very friendly. The only real letdown was the water, which tasted pretty bad. Overall, flavorful and filling, but I’d prefer a smaller portion at a lower price point. Definitely one of those meals that leaves you feeling bloated.

This was delicious! The chicken bowl was so filling and had high-quality fillings (cilantro rice, roasted peppers and onions, and pinto beans). The nachos were also yummy. The tacos were a bit dry—definitely the least exciting option. Seating can obviously get crowded, but there’s a lot of indoor space here.

People often have mixed experiences with this place, but I’m leaning towards liking it. Pecos Bill is a counter service place where you can eat Tex-mex in an old west saloon. The atmosphere wasn’t very exciting, but there’s a variety of condiments to choose from, and the place was clean. The service was quick with our orders, and was friendly with us. However, you may need to wait in line without mobile ordering!

The quality of the food isn’t at the highest standard, but was delicious. The meats had a lot of flavor to them, and the cilantro rice wasn’t overwhelming. The chips and queso were creamy & flavorful. However, I thought the pinto beans weren’t that great. Overall, Pecos Bill is arguably the best counter service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.

For Disney quick service it was perfectly acceptable. Line went quick and food came out hot. Chili con queso Burger was fine but good for quick service. The kids beef nachos were good.
