We love the food here and have been coming for years. The service is always fantastic, but the last few times and especially today as I sit here waiting on my food, I notice how dirty the walls and ceiling are. The vents, ceiling fans are nasty. Makes me wonder what it looks like in the cooking area.
The place needs a face lift and a ton of cleaning. The picture just shows a small portion of the eating area.

Pulled pork was extremely wet for my taste. It was soaking wet with water which ruined the bun it was on before even adding any sauce.
The brisket however was fantastic! Very tender and considerably thicker cut then your typical brisket.
The two sauces they had available were both very tasty. I enjoyed the molasses based more individualy then the vinegar but when combined they complimented each other nicely.
I’d stop again if I’m back in the area.

Fantastic Q. As soon as we walked in I knew we’d come to the right spot. The smokey smell said it all. Finely minced topped with “slaw”. Yes,. Please. Stop bye and enjoy. Will note this spot next time we’re in the area.

I did the yardbird, good price, tomato based paste, tender, juicy. Much healthier and cheaper than getting fried chicken. Ill have to try something different next time.

I absolutely love this place. I only heard about it word-of-mouth from a coworker and im so glad I did. The food was absolutely amazing. I love barbecue and the food here is the perfect example of good southern kitchen cooking. The sauces are so good, the pork was amazing, I even got some great hot dogs! The prices? An absolute steal. The raw amount of this amazing food I got for the price literally shocked me, I thought there had to be some kind of catch. But there wasn’t! I will try and get back every chance I get for this awesome place!

The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was very family friendly.
My group ate the brisket plate, Philly cheese, big daddy cheeseburger with french fries, tots, Mac n cheese and Cole slaw. I sampled a bit of everything we ordered and was pleasantly shocked.

We were heading home to Lexington and wanted to grab BBQ. My wife had the brisket sandwich and I had a full rack of ribs. The brisket was delicious, however; the ribs were dry and chewy. The worst part is the ribs tasted old or reheated a couple of time before they were served to me. I will give them another try but just because it could have been a one off. The place is quaint and the service was great.
