Food 10/10! I purchased fried whiting, mac and cheese with sweet potatoes and strawberry lemonade. The young lady at the register was very helpful in helping me decide what items were most popular and what her favorites were. The fish had the perfect crisp, it was fresh and seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes were delicious. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

So 1. Staff was amazing there was a younger looking red head behind the counter she was super sweet. This def has the vibes of the old “li kitchen” If you’re familiar. Outdated,has that weird codorus creek smell.now to the food.. there is no authentic Spanish food on the menu as the website states id lean more toward maybe soul/Jamaican so that being said i was thinking the flavor would be more on the Hispanic side and it was not, we ordered the oxtail combo with 2 sides (mac/cheese and sweet plantains) ox tail were def tender the flavor was more smokey type…mac and cheese was good! Sweet plaintains were decent we also ordered wings I asked not to be fried hard but they were… we got the honey old bay and that flavor was pretty good.. the water icees were also priced high 3$/small (kids small) but they were good. As my friend enjoyed the tastes I would not order from here again.

My husband and I are Muslim so we like to eat here. We stopped for a while due to the customer service. I choose to doordash it so I do not have to interact with the employees here. Food is amazing, but it seems if you are fair skin tone you are treated differently. Bathroom is only an exception to people with dark skin. I guess that goes for customer service too. Food is good thats all they have going for them.

We stopped in Saturday for lunch. We had an oxtail meal, fried perch meal and hot buffalo wings. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be repeat customers. The food is fresh and made to order so there may be a wait to receive your food but it is well worth the wait. They were out of strawberry lemonade that our daughter ordered but they made it fresh for her because they could tell she had her heart set on it. Great music if you dine in with plenty of seating and parking.

Went here with my family after seeing a video on Facebook. There were some good things about it and some things that could have been better.
The pros:
The place was clean and the ambiance was ok if you wanted to sit down instead of taking out.
Had a pretty decent variety of food to choose from, fish to chicken to oxtails.
The cons:
This is made to order for at least the fish so there is a bit of a wait.
Food is a little pricey. We got 3 whiting entrees, with 2 chocolate cake slices and a strawberry pound cake slice and a side of wings which totaled $85.
Food:
We ordered 3 whiting entrees, one with Mac and cheese and fries, the second had 2 portions of collard greens and the third was yams and fried cabbage. We all agreed that the fish was delicious and well seasoned. Good size pieces and not too greasy. The Mac and cheese was ok but it could have used some seasonings like garlic powder, black pepper etc. The collard greens were ok. The yams were up there with the fish, sweet and savory, cooked well would definitely get again. The fried cabbage, I wouldn’t have considered it fried and it was mixed with collard greens, definitely could have used more seasoning. We got plain wings and they were ok as well just looked very dry and had very little breading .The chocolate cake tasted like store bought cake and was super dense and dry. I would go again and get the yams and fish for sure.

Food was very good. I was told all items are halal which is great for the islamic members of our community. If you are in the mood for solid soul food type meals this place is legit. Oxtail is seasoned well and rice texture is good. Bananna mousse- it dosen’t make sense how good this stuff really is. Catfish is well seasoned and prepared properly. Oldbay honey wings are as good as I have had anywhere else and I will stand by this untill proven other wise. Looking forward to try more items from here this place is legit.
