I had an amazing experience here! The burger was delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Our server, Maggie, was super sweet, friendly, and very informative. She checked in on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. She even let us know when she was going on break and that Robbie would be taking over such great communication.
Before we even ordered, the sun was hitting my neck, and without me saying a word, Robbie noticed and moved the umbrella to give us shade. That level of attentiveness is rare, and it honestly made the meal even better.
Everyone here was incredibly welcoming, and the whole experience from the food to the service was top-tier. Highly recommend stopping by if you want great food and genuine hospitality!

We stopped by around 2:45 to grab a late lunch. There was a substantial wait for a table, but our order to go was ready in 15 mins so we just took it back to our hotel. We ordered a French dip, butternut squash soup, kids fried chicken, kids buttered noodles, all with crispy potatoes and polenta. Literally everything was a 10/10. This place absolutely lived up to the hype. Very cute spot too, nice ambiance on the patio, right next to Mortensens Bakery in the thick of things.

Locally sourced food. Good prices for excellent bites. Absolutely delish. Will cater to food allergies and sensitivites, just let your server know. Service is impecable. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. The seats are very comfortable. The tables are gorgeous pieces of reclaimed wood. There are clean restrooms. Within walking distance of parking, and other wonderful places in Solvang.

The food was decent but the chili oil in the soup was really sharp and didn’t sit well with my stomach afterwards. Normally, I’m very used to (and love) spicy food. Service was okay.

peasants is a no brainer when it comes to amazing flavor. The menu is always compelling and ive found myself stuck between two dishes. The chicken sando is a no brainer. The Kobe french dip (Specials Menu) was killer. Drop by this spot when visiting Solvang!

We got the “hot” chicken sandwich which was fine but not spicy at all, as well as the fig grilled cheese which was really good. We had cheese polenta (my husband loved that) and the butternut squash soup as sides which were delicious. Service was very friendly but the wait was ridiculously long.

Best key lime pie I’ve ever had, butternut squash soup was great, and the smoked salmon lox-style sandwich was perfect too. The fresh lemonade was so good. Put your name down, walk around Solvang, and make sure you experience this awesome place.

The brussels sprouts salad with chicken was awesome, and we normally don’t even order salads. I actually liked it more than the chicken sandwich, but that was good too.

What a treat, they have received the Michelin awards for a reason. Delicious food, great ambiance and wonderful staff. They know they food well so ask questions if you have them. The Hot Chicken was excellent, the carnitas tacos amazing and if you like spicy the habanero sauce is fire. Highly recommended if you come to Solvang.

A cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The area is lively and we could hear live music.
We ordered their signature hot chicken sandwich and a smoked salmon sandwich. Both were flavorful. Our waitress was super friendly. It was a pleasant experience.
