I ordered a breakfast sampler, no eggs but was charged for each item individually and an extra COG fee (cost of groceries)? The service was fast and friendly and the food was good! My only complaint is the small portion of grits and the thin bacon! Everything else was really good!

Mr Christopher was very kind and hospitable to me and my family. The food came very fast too! I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, butter peas and corn bread and it was so good! The brown gravy was perfect! Tasted like classic, homey, southern comfort food.

Traveling through on vacation and needed to fuel up. This local gem was everything I hoped it would be. Counter order and brought out to your table. The biscuits were very tasty and generous in portion. As were the country ham and bacon. The banana nut muffin was served piping hot . It was scrumptious. Once I added butter to it, it was heavenly. Friendly folk operate this establishment, not like corporate franchise places. The warmth and love for food and people is clearly present in the staff here. So if you get the opportunity, stop in for some mighty fine fixins.

On a trip and stopped in for some breakfast after reading the google reviews. Everything was delicious only thing I didn’t like was the sweet tea or the fountain drink. But overall the food was great and the customer service was excellent!

biscuits and GRAVY – so i normally dont like gravy but oh my goodness – i got it on the side and wound up eating it with a spoon it was so good! the biscuits were so good and buttery…
the lima beans and collards… so good!
the corn bread….
we got the fried chicken and beef tips to go with mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, limas to go, which we shall savour tomorrow.
buttermilk pie – homemade – peach cobbler and banana pudding….
freshly brewed sweet tea….
they open at 5:45am and close atc2pm i believe. once 10:30am (when lunch is ready) that place was nonstop – with people ordering inside and the line at the drive through.
if you are ever in Albany GA and are looking for true southern hospitality and great food – this is where to eat!!!
