The most authentic Chinese foods in Chinese take out restaurants!! Great quality and quantity for the prices they charge. The sweet and salty soups are also tasty and healthy. I will definitely come back again!

It looks much like a typical Chinese to-go restaurant like those you see in many parts of the USA. No tables. No chairs. What’s different is that they’re Taiwanese. Plus I see plenty of folks who show up here and who speak Chinese, which means they vote for the authenticity of the food made here.
The lady who was behind the counter also cooks. She gave me something extra. I put everything in our fridge when I got home, and I plan to take my time enjoying them. The beef noodle, which I had, was good. So far.

I was wrong about this place. I was used to the deep fried pork chop over rice dish and they do it a little different but I tried today some black bean noodles with a grilled chicken leg and a fish fillet over rice platter, and – this meal was so good it made me a little upset it was a weird experience. For the price the amount of food I got and how well it was cooked, this place serves food that belongs in a fancy sit down restaurant.

I ordered the pork chop bento and Taiwanese style rice noodle. The pork chop was so tasty and the sausage was juicy and full of flavor, reminded me of the night markets in Taiwan. However, the vegetables served were over cooked and sad looking, and the rice was clumpy and mushy. The rice noodle had three large shrimps and overall had a great authentic taste but it was on the colder side. I ordered ahead for pickup and arrived within fifteen minutes of my phoned order. I think they just make a big batch of everything and package it up and when you come and pick up they just give you what you ordered. This can explain the cold noodles. I tried both the savory and sweet soups. Savory one tasted like a pork bone broth with seaweed, ginger and fish balls. The sweet one is like red bean soup with grass jelly, sago, taro and whatever is left over in it. I enjoyed both soups, flavors were very Taiwanese. One of the better options for Taiwanese food in Queens.

I got the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The braised beef is AMAZING. Best braised beef I’ve ever had. The portion was huge. I looked like a friggin animal eating it at a park bench. The veggies were blanched perfectly. The noodles were cooked perfectly but I still would have preferred fresh noodles.
One thing to note: the broth has tons of flavor but is intentionally underseasoned. Be sure to get soy sauce and chili packs to add some needed salt and heat.

Update 11/1: Ordered the black bean noodles. Was expecting a Taiwanese version of jajangmyeon (which I love) but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does the dish come with a bunch of minced pork, it also comes with your choice of roast chicken or roasted pork. I got the chicken and, OMG, it was a huge roasted chicken leg. Perfectly seasoned, roasted and glazed. Skin was crispy and meat was juicy.
The black bean sauce itself was great. Unlike jajangmyeon, there wasn’t too much of the sauce, just enough to coat the noodles. It was so flavorful and well seasoned, no additional sauces were needed.

Trying this take-out for the first time and very good bento box meals. I ordered the Eel, Chicken Leg and Pork Chop, Shredded Dried Bean Curd & Pork over rice and the Taiwanese Fried Rice Cake. All very tasty and large potions! They really took their time to make the bento looks nice…even when it is just a takeout order!

This is a not so typical Asian takeout place. They have Taiwanese food. Pork chop over rice is good and beef over rice falls apart in your mouth

I would have written this place off if I never went inside. So, this place looks like your run of the mill Chinese restaurant, but it’s actually not. They serve very authentic Taiwanese food, and it’s delicious.
When you walk in, they still have the classic Chinese menu items on the wall. . . They just don’t sell them. The workers there are an older couple, so speed is not their high point. However, they are very polite and understanding. They also make some delicious food that is well worth the wait. The price is cheap too.
I got the crispy chicken cutlet with Taiwanese sausage railroad bento box. The amount of food for that price was insane. Huge chicken cutlets, marinated boiled egg, veggies and the sausage all over white rice. It also came with a soup but I forgot about that and left it in my car for a few days. . .
Bottom line, order ahead, find parking, and enjoy.

We’ve been ordering from here for several years. Expect a bit of a wait for takeout, but the food quality has been very consistent, the portions are generous, and the owner is very friendly. One of the few places left that serves authentic Taiwanese food.

The food is large portion for sure. The taste of the food is above average. I cant say it is authentic taiwan food but it is pretty good in flavor. Some of the meat is little dry in general. The rice is soft and the sauce is perfect match with the rice
