Peanut Park is such a pretty spot. All the food was delicious, and the whole aesthetic is just lovely. It feels special without being stuffy. We were there for a birthday dinner. I’d definitely recommend it for celebration dinners, dates, anniversaries, anything where you want a meal that feels a little elevated but still easy.

Had a surprise suggestion from my wife to go check out Peanut Park Trattoria on a recent day off. Couldn’t have been more fun chatting with the staff and enjoying delicious food and cocktails there while learning about the history of the area we all know and love, Little Italy. Great menu, wood fired pizza and some fun decor made this a great and relaxing couple of hours spent together after a busy week.

Stopped in for lunch. My group had the peppers and sausage and barrata appetizer. Both were excellent. Large portions for 4-5 people. The pizza was delicious and the pistachio pesto pasta was soooo good. The entire staff was friendly and very attentive server.

Same owners as Coalfire. Good pizza, not great pizza. Identity crisis – Neapolitan or NY? Dough is good quality, but not fermented enough for a Neo, not crispy enough for a NY style. Clean sauce, good quality cheese. The bartender was amazing and friendly. Great place to stop for a drink and grab a bite, but not a pizza destination.

We had a fantastic experience at Peanut Park Trattoria in Little Italy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — everyone greeted us as we walked in, which made us feel right at home.

The food was outstanding. The focaccia was flavorful and fresh, and the pappardelle pasta was truly unforgettable.

The atmosphere is charming and stylish, with a cool deconstructed Vespa on the wall that adds a unique touch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Always a.great meal at P-Squared. The pastas are fantastic and the chicken parm is excellent. If you get that parm be serious if you get the full size. It’s enough for one NFL linemen or two to three normal sized humans. On the pasta, try them all to be honest. Up front, that bread with the whipped ricotta is a sleeper, do it, extra honey etc.

Drinks are good.

If you need parking they will help you. Just ask inside. Very nice owner and staff. Family place. Get grandma’s desert it is ‘da best!

Grab a pizza while you are at it!

So we were here for an event thru work so the menu options were limited. However, the one pepperoni pizza was good. The penne à la vodka was okay but they didn’t put a tray of water under the pasta so it got very dry. We waited for about 25 mins for a sprite and the flavor was out. The didn’t have enough staff and the bar was backed up. We did have the toasted foccaccia which was good. The salad was bitter due to the red cabbage and they pureed a sun dried tomato dressing which made the salad very acidic and not roast good at all. The mashed potatoes was just garlic flavored and had no other seasoning otherwise was whipped to right consistency. The lemon chicken was mostly lemon and no other flavor with chicken it was also rather mushy. Now we are going to come back and just try the regular menu to see if they just could not handle an event on a busy Friday night. Drink menu was good and had very good options. They did take up a lot of space with two large round booth tables so it’s less seating available. We will see how it goes once we decide to try it again with full menu options.

We had THE BEST experience at Peanut Park!

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had the task of finding a restaurant that would seat 25+ people. The owner, Dave, was phenomenal. He gave me his cell phone number and helped plan the entire event, free of charge. Luckily, Peanut Park has a rooftop that is quaint and intimate, providing us the best teambuilding experience. Dave went above and beyond and created a buffet style menu just for our reservation. On top of all of the amazing experiences we had, the food was probably some of the best Italian food I have had the pleasure of eating. We joke about driving back to Chicago just to eat at Peanut Park again. The only obstacle we were faced with was Chicago traffic and transporting multiple families to one location at the same time. Dave being a problem solver, gave us a contact to a friend who owns a shuttle service. It was so affordable and provided the best experience for the team, coaches, and families. I cannot think Dave enough for rolling out the red carpet to his neighbors in St. Louis.

Went to tour UIC’s campus and wanted a spot for some nice food after the tour. We cam across Peanut Park and couldn’t be more thankful that we did.

Experience was amazing, food was quick and phenomenal, and owner was very pleasant to talk with.

We walked into the restaurant not sure how we felt about UIC, and left feeling a lot more fond of the area due to Dave Bonomi(owner).

Would 100% recommend going if you have time. You won’t regret it.

Was also told the family owns another restaurant called Coalfire Pizza, if it is anything close to Peanut Park its probably amazing.

We got the crostini, the ziti and the chicken parm. The chicken parm was exceptional, breaded to perfection with juicy chicken breast. The Ziti was very good as well, the sauce was delicious, not acidic. I would have liked some actual chunks of a calabrese sausage than minced nduja but that’s the chefs decision so I will leave it at that. There were a couple of odd things that happened service was which left a sour test.

So I am docking points for that. I would suggest going on a non busy day. I think they were completely overwhelmed for Valentine’s Day. Which is odd because you would expect that they would be ready. Would I go back? Sure, the food was good.

We asked for salt and pepper which never arrived, the first glass of lemoncillo spritz was quite large and satisfying, did a reorder and the glass was almost half the size. Ordered a shot of lemoncillon and was shocked to find that it was $10.
