My son ordered a simple beef taco, which came battered and deep fried. I had an empanada, which was the strangest one I’ve ever had. It consisted of thick, deep fried bread stuffed with flavorless beef. The rice was crunchy, with peas and corn and was akin to chewing on legos. And for what we got, it was wildly overpriced.
The server and bar tender were so nice, so it really pains me to rain on their establishment. But it simply isn’t good food and certainly not at that price. I’m so sorry!
I’ve also never heard of a restaurant charging credit card fees.
Great food and service, only had appetizers but they were great and the mango margaritas were made fresh and simply awesome. The chef is newly arrived from Chicago and creating new dishes for the menu…..check it out!
Update: Cornhole tournaments on Monday night, karaoke on Wednesday, some great talent!
Open mic night here on Saturday! Great music and musicians, definitely needed to come, best entertainment in Granbury, kudos to Cliff Williams, Ron Schaffer and Boodreaux Guitarez…..you guys are awesome!
The hot sauce is on the hot side. Chips were a little hard and bland. The chicken enchiladas where very tasty. The hard tacos and tostadas, were more on the 3 star side due to the hard and bland shells.
Very small portions of rice and beans with entree, literally like three bites of each.
The server was super sweet.
My girlfriend is a top food critic and DFW. So she has taken me to many restaurants to where I have tasted the good and the bad numerous times…
My 1st judgment on Mexican restaurants is the chips in salsa. If the sauce was bad than the whole meal is probably going to go south.
But the salsa was very good it Was good texture and definitely had a small kick.
Moving on I got here and had been told today June 14th. They were serving a appetizer of CEVICHE.
The only other time i’ve had this was actually in mexico. This was the closest that i’ve ever found to being what I remember in mexico two years ago. I had to definitely save some to bring back home for my girlfriend so she could have it again and remember that time in mexico.
My buddy was with me and he had the grilled Chicken con queso He said it was fantastic
I had the combo fajitas and The steak could have been cooked a little less but over all taste was very good.
Congrats to the new owners
