Driving thru a small Ohio town, you notice a pizza place with a full parking lot. So you have to try it. The clientele is a mix of men in there bib overalls, carharts, or blue jeans. There was one guy wearing golf shorts and New Balance sneakers. The ladies were dressed better than the men and showing their appreciation for not having to make dinner that night. The only unhappy person was the whining kid on his phone that “don’t like pizza.” Everyone else was happy to be there.
The Chicken ranch pizza was very good. The crust thing and crisp. Not burnt, crisp. Every ingredient listed was well represented and quite tasty. It is easy to understand why Pean’s is the go to place for pizza in Monroeville.

Quite a unique pizza spot.
The pizza itself was not my favorite style. The crust was rather malleable; almost seemed slightly undercooked. The sausage was extremely salty and overpowering.
The exterior is awesome! And the interior is farm style…pretty unique!

Walked in the doors it was not crowded. There was no greeting when we walked in the door and this is the type of place where you look at the menu and order at the counter and pay first, They don’t take your order from your seat. There is no one telling you that so I guess you’re supposed to just know how they work when you walk in the door. Staff not friendly at all. mind you you pay for your food before you get it when we were finished with our meals we asked for boxes we were told we had to wait for the waitress to finish ringing out the bar tabs before she could get us boxes to leave Even though we already paid. Staff took your order, brought you food that was it no friendly conversation Just not a friendly atmosphere unless you’re a regular, I guess. Food was fantastic if I eat there again, it will be to go. To The staff that read this review do better be nicer. It’s not that hard. It cost zero dollars to be nice and actually you could get more money if you were nice People leave good tips when they feel welcome and enjoy their experience.

We just order for pick up, but DAAAANGGG. I think I could eat their wings for the rest of forever! Especially with their pizza! I give em 5 stars. We’ve always ordered weekends & at busy times- I’m not sure if that means anything, but I thought it was worth a mention. A smidget more $, but the quality has always been worth it. I recommended Pean’s to a friend/co-worker today. I hope she & her husband can make it there sometime 🙂

Decent pizza, though table service is slow. They serve alcohol and have a full service bar. You order at the counter then seat yourself. Overall it feels like a small town pizza place where locals gather to enjoy a good time. I would eat there again.

The food was good, We ordered the sampler platter as the appetizer which let us try the French fries, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and mushrooms so me and my wife enjoyed it tremendously.

Will definitely have to remember this place if I’m up in this area again!! On my 10hr break at the 7/11 truck stop- they were happy to deliver! Decided to try the Taco pizza, SOOO good! It’ll most likely last me a couple days(that’s a good thing!), and got their cinnamon ‘dessert’ pizza as a treat(& for breakfast snacking). Thank y’all!!

This pizza is a MUST TRY!! We got the all meat and the quality of the toppings and cheese are really good with absolutly fantastic flavors! The cheesebread is a good soft almost fluffy dough with garlic and a ton of cheese! The pizza roll is super good…definitely worth a try. Loveee the pepperonis here!!

Very good pizza and will eat here again. The thick and thin crust were my favorite. Would highly recommend the bacon as that had a freshness to it like no other pizza place ive had before. Pepperoni roll was more of a foldover then a roll. Ingredients and crust have good flavors. The extra thin crust was a hot greasy mess. May need to bake crust first and then add toppings as it just fell apart being so thin. Sauce has a good taste and consistency but could use some flavor tweaks.
