Visited Peak Thai for dinner on a Tuesday evening. There was plenty of open tables and was immediately sat at my table. There’s approximately seating for 34.
Service was quick. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao…Thai Hot. Dish was quickly served and it was fantastic. Full of flavor…diced green beans instead of red/green bell peppers and a large portion. They do a lot of take out…and parking can be difficult as there’s a number of restaurants in the strip mall.

Excellent food quality and space. The server was so polite and nice and even helped us identify one of the best boba tea spots right next to the restaurant.
Ordered 3 main courses and 2 appetisers, everything was amazing ! Worth it.

I tried Peak Thai in Lombard and it definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender chicken. The balance of sweet, tangy, and savory in the sauce was spot on. Portion size was generous too, so it felt like a great value.
The restaurant itself has a nice, welcoming vibe, and the service was friendly and quick. You can tell they really care about quality here. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes on the menu!
Highly recommend Peak Thai if you’re craving authentic, flavorful Thai food in the area.

Food came out very quickly… but my broccoli in pad see ew were overcooked. Not fresh 🙁
Spicy garlic fried rice didn’t taste like fried rice. More like steamed rice —
Edit: the broccoli were REALLY overcooked. However, the garlic rice tasted really good! I don’t remember what the menu said, but we had expected fried rice so we were disappointed.

Incredible Thai food! I have tried lots of Thai food in various states around the country and this little gem had food bursting with flavor. Each item we ordered had its own taste and uniquely delicious flavor! With 3 picky kids, and one child with allergies, they were very careful not to contaminate any of the food. There were lot of options for my kids to try. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Chicken fried rice, drunken chicken noodles, chicken saatay, Chicken Thai Basil, Penang chicken curry (was a bit spicy) but very tasty, Orange chicken (totally recommend this one). It’s a small place but we went with 10 family members around 3pm so there was hardly anyone there. I will definitely be back here to try more items!

I do not recommend coming here if you have children. The waitress made me very uncomfortable. We come in and I was happy that they had high chairs. We sit down and she quickly asks what we want. I ordered an appetizer and meanwhile, my son, who is a toddler, was acting up. She was standing very close to where our table was and she repeatedly kept coming to ask what we wanted. I was still looking at the menu the last time she came and by that point, I was beyond frustrated. I was dealing with a fussy toddler and this waitress who apparently did not want to wait until we were actually ready to order! I thought about us just eating the appetizer and leaving the last time she came. I did order entrees—a noodle and the dumpling soup. I was not impressed with the food. For a soup, noodle dish, crab rangoons, and a side of rice, it was around 40.
I was unable to use the women’s restroom, so I went to the men’s. There was no changing table.
Go spend your money elsewhere. I’m never going back to this restaurant. Work on your customer service!

Great little spot. Green curry was good – though a bit smaller on the portion size and meat/eggplant ratio. The pad Thai was actually pretty delicious. Crab Rangoon tasted good, but felt like it was just cream cheese in there. Tom Kha soup was not what we expected but tasted fine after all. The rice was way too soft and mushy. Mango sticky rice was a big hit. Overall, not the best Thai food we had, but it was a pleasant experience.
When compared to pictures of the menu from a year ago, price increases are visible. I understand we are in an inflationary environment but I found the current pricing to be on the higher end vs alternatives in the vicinity.

Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend the pad thai. The appetizers (crab rangoons and baby egg rolls) came out immediately – hot and fresh! We also tried the garlic noodles and I really enjoyed the pineapple flavor in the sweet and sour stir-fry. All the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Ecstatic about this place! Just the addition Roosevelt needed. A Thai restaurant with abundant halal options. As you see from the pics, we ordered a wide selection and were not disappointed!
My favorites were the the green curry, pad see eiw and chicken wings. They lean towards spices so be sure to specify your level.
Quaint cozy space, great service. I recommend you make reservations evenings and weekends.
Very reasonable prices for portions and quality!

Peak Thai Restaurant absolutely lives up to its name—it’s the kind of place that reminds you why Thai cuisine is so loved. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, inviting atmosphere that balances comfort and authenticity. The space is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a calm environment that makes you want to sit back and actually enjoy your meal rather than rush through it.
The service is one of Peak Thai’s strongest points. The staff is genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. They’re happy to make recommendations, explain spice levels clearly, and accommodate preferences or dietary needs without hesitation. Orders come out efficiently, drinks are refilled promptly, and you truly feel taken care of from start to finish.
Now for the food—exceptional across the board. Every dish is beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The balance of sweet, savory, spicy, and tangy is done perfectly, showing real attention to detail and consistency in the kitchen. Ingredients taste fresh, portions are generous, and everything arrives hot and perfectly cooked. Whether it’s curries, noodles, stir-fries, or rice dishes, each bite feels intentional and satisfying.
What really sets Peak Thai apart is how customizable the experience is. Spice levels are taken seriously (not watered down), proteins are cooked just right, and the kitchen clearly values quality over shortcuts. Even side items and sauces feel thoughtfully prepared rather than like afterthoughts.
Overall, Peak Thai Restaurant delivers top-tier food, outstanding service, and a comfortable dining experience that makes you want to come back again and again. It’s the kind of restaurant you confidently recommend to friends, family, or anyone craving authentic, high-quality Thai food. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, or ordering for a group, Peak Thai consistently exceeds expectations and stands out as a true gem.
