We had dinner here around 7:00 on 6/23. We sat ourselves at a table, and after a few minutes, we were warmly welcomed by our server and given menus. We started off with the shrimp jammers, which were fried to a crisp on the outside and filled with shrimp and creamy cheese on the inside. They paired nicely with the boom boom sauce provided. Then for my entree, I got the Texan burger, which was delicious. The burger was juicy and seasoned well, and the slaw brightened everything up. The fries were also pleasantly crisp and flavorful. Overall, we enjoyed a delightful meal and had a good time.

Our first time here, my son and I were just looking for a change of scenery.
The aesthetics were pleasing from the outside, and when you walk in.
We were Greeted with a friendly welcome and offered to sit anywhere we’d like.
I tend to sit at the bar if they have one, to ensure consistent service, so that was a plus in itself.
Bartender, and the gentleman who greeted us were both very helpful in offering recommendations off the menu.
We decided on the cowboy corn nuts, deep fried and creamy goodness on the inside, along with the sushi, which consisted of puffy fried potato Nuggets, topped with carnitas and cheese. Both were very good.
We were on the fence for a burger or friend chicken sandwich..we ended up going with the chicken, but the filet was dry and chewy for the most part, center was not as overcooked, but it wasn’t as juicy I had hoped. When we go back, we’ll try a burger. 😉
Overall, a decent menu selection!
The crowd was building up as it approached dinner time, some folks playing pool and air hockey.

Nice drinks and personable bar staff. Security is there, but they’re not overwhelming. The vibes are nice, with a covered outside area for the smokers. No smoke inside like the other nasty Shelton Gin bar in town.

I have been in town the past few weeks for work and cannot begin to describe how much I enjoy this bar. Great staff, very attentive. The drink menu is very robust and their food is absolutely incredible. Being from Houston, this bar could easily be in the Heights or Midtown and do very very well!

FOXHOUSE Bar & Grill is an awesome spot for great food, drinks, and atmosphere! The menu has a nice variety — everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is always fast. The place has a fun, relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual dinner. Great food, great service, and great energy — definitely one of my favorite local spots!

Arrived around 945pm coming from college station tx. It was a ghost town. Walked into the doors with no greeting or recognition although there was eye contact made with one of the staff member.
My husband walked over to her and asked if we just pick a seat or has the last call for food been made. She just stared and said yes and continued with whatever she was doing. Mind you closing time is at 11pm. The least she could have done was greet the customer and explained it all as soon as the doors opened.

was amazing).To the food. The atmosphere. I ate all of my food. I never eat all my food. The beach bum drink was on Q. Beer is good and chilled. Clean kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Kid friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Not loud.

First time to visit this recently opened bar and grill. Definitely glad we spontaneously stopped. Great atmosphere, good food, billiards, live band. I was informed that future plans to have outdoor activities; i.e., volleyball, horseshoes, etc. I think they stay open past midnight on the weekends. Palestine has very few places for nightlife fun. Plus, it is on W. Oak/79 and closer to my house; therefore, there is no need to drive 20-30 minutes to get there. I am excited about my next visit. Our waitress, Skylar, was exceptional!!!

Well we all had the chicken and waffles and honestly they were amazing, service was slightly slow but the food definitely made up for it.

This is a very unique place for Palestine. They have the place decorated nice. They have pool and sports on TV going. The service was great. The food was pretty unique. I got the shrimp nacho waffle fries. My wife got the fox trap. The servings was huge, and the food tasted great. We will definitely come back.
