Delicious Indian food with a great atmosphere. Nice place to bring a date and experience Indian food / culture. My favorite was the rasmalai for dessert, curry paneer was very tasty with butter naan. Fruit punch mocktail is 10 out of 10…. Creamy and full of flavor. For all those afraid of spicy food… The spicy ness was tame. Server was friendly and paid attention to the table ensuring out water was always full.

I’ve eaten at many restaurants in the valley and this one is a knockout in terms of food, atmosphere and service. We decided to try Peacock for my birthday and weren’t 100% sure what to order, but our server Shashank gave us some amazing suggestions that turned out to be total winners. We ordered a few appetizers (Tandoori shrimp, lamb chop, and samosa chat) and split the entree (Kashmiri rogan jhosh with both garlic and butter naan).
My faves were the samosa chat, which was like potato filled dumplings with a delicious creme sauce, topped with pomegranite seeds. The lamp chop was also amazing. Everything was fresh, fun and prepared with care. My friend said it was the best food she’s had in years! We tried the matcha and very berry mocktails, which were so fun! They have a full bar, too.
The atmosphere is beautifully and effortlessly modern. There’s a few TVs and top 40 music playing, which makes it feel like a perfect mix of culture and comfort.
Last, service: impeccable and attentive. Honestly couldn’t ask for more! I’m excited to come back and try what else is on the menu! Highly recommend for date night, a girls’ night, tasty lunch or just whenever you want to try something new and special.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. We ordered the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan—and every single dish was bursting with flavor. Truly some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
Beyond the food, the owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. The ambience was warm, beautiful, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Visited fist for lunch and no crowd and got the orders within 10 mins. Taste of the food is really good and felt the appetizer quantity is less the price they charge and even for Briyani as well. Overall taste is good.

Gotta say this place was a surprise, not only was the food cellent, full of wonderful Indian spices but the chicken and fish were cooked to perfection on top of this the service was impeccable, they really made sure you were very satisfied with everything. The atmosphere very cool a very elegant mixture of Indian style decoration and modern European design. It was extremely clean, very laid back, unlike every other Indian restaurant they were NOT running Bollywood on the TV’s or stereo, they had nature videos on one TV and the game on the other but at minimal volumes and the place smelt absolutely delightful. Yes We highly suggest trying this place as we will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful experience at Peacock, Indian Bar and Grill! The staff was attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
I ordered the butter paneer and my husband got the chicken tikka masala – both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on and everything was cooked to perfection. We both ordered mild, but definitely could have gone with medium spice level.
The atmosphere is elevated and clean, with a modern vibe that makes it feel like a brand new restaurant. It’s a great spot for a nice dinner out.
Pricing is reasonable – we paid about $58 total for two entrees including a 20% tip, which felt like great value for the quality of food and experience.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent Indian cuisine!

From appetizers to mains, the entire meal was outstanding. We tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The walnut potato galette and tandoori chicken made for excellent starters. For the main course, we had mutton Kashmiri curry, dal makhani, malai kofta, and naan — each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The kitchen thoughtfully adjusted the spice levels to our preference. Special appreciation to the restaurant manager, Shashank, for delivering exceptional service throughout.
