My first time trying !! Came in this Sunday and the food was really great ! Hot fresh and super tasty!! Got the turkey and fish and it was so flavorful! The yams and Mac was amazing !! Definitely recommend coming by !!

This place took me back to my childhood, with some good southern comfort food. I had fried cat fish and collard greens and it was just like I was in my grandmother’s kitchen. Finished off with a peach cobbler that I will definitely come back for! The service was excellent and spot on to Southern charm. I highly recommend this charming spot.

I ordered the salmon croquettes, and they took a minute but the staff was very courteous about the wait. The croquettes, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes were all great. I also got some red velvet cake and that was delicious. I will be returning!

Stopped by this soul food spot while in town—busy Sunday, but the staff handled it like pros. Chicken, fish, and sweet potato cornbread? Absolutely chef’s kiss. Cabbage? Not for me. Mac & cheese? I honestly can’t remember, so maybe it was fine. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was good, but unfortunately the customer service completely ruined the experience. While ordering, a piece of chicken was placed in my container that I didn’t choose. When I politely asked if it could be switched, I was told it couldn’t be changed because it had already been put in the container — even though customers are supposed to pick the pieces they want.
The staff overall came across as irritated and made it feel like customers were inconveniencing them just by ordering. I also witnessed another customer being ignored while trying to add something to her order.
Good food can’t make up for poor service, and because of the overall unpleasant experience, I won’t be returning.

I had a wonderful experience. The food took me back to great grandmother’s house. The service was top notch and the lemonade was so sweet I had to cut it with ice water (as it should be). They don’t call it comfort food for nothing.

Party of 6 for our table. Dressing/stuffing, sweet potatoes, fish and chicken is good. Cabbage has a lil spicy. Other vegetable options consider for small children. Great food to stop and check it out! 5*****

Service was terrible. The cashier was extremely rude and loud and climbed over the counter, walked in and immediately greeted by what they don’t have while the cooks made personal plates of food that was already running low so we had to wait longer! Floors were very greasy and wet. Baked chicken was very dry. Wouldn’t return or recommend.
