I NEVER leave 1 stars- and I don’t want to hurt small businesses, but I just got scammed for sure it was my fault for even paying in the first place after I heard the total, but I called in an order so I felt like I needed to pay for it. I ordered an avocado toast with smoked salmon & tomato and a side of Greek yogurt. For $32… when I went to pay and she told me the total i said “$32?!!” And she said yeah… it adds up. When I saw what I actually got when I went to the car it made me even more pissed- that’s the amount of salmon I get for a $32 order? A sprinkle? I’m sure they have great coffee and it was a mistake but I won’t be returning sorry :/ this was a $15 order at MOST.

We were up from San Antonio, housesitting for family, and came across this delightful spot in the downtown district.
I knew we were in good hands when I spotted the La Marzocco machine. It’s a top of the line espresso machine, and a good indicator of high quality.
Pax’s inviting ambience is a mix of whimsy and quirkiness that reminded me of 1990’s coffee houses… nostalgia counts for something.
We enjoyed a featured Day and Night cold brew and a hot double espresso. Delicious! The espresso was bright and smooth… the La Marzocco did good! The featured drink was delicious, sweet without being syrupy, and refreshing.
Save room for the pastries! I had the “almond joy” cookie… Chef’s kiss!
Highly recommend. Cheers!

Perfect little coffee shop. Great coffee this morning with a slice of just-out-of-the-oven apple cinnamon bread. Authentic and interesting interior with a cool small town vibe and great music selection. Friendly barista offered water and snacks for our pups in the car.

The coffee shop is so cute, in a great location and is adorable inside. I was very excited to try it, I love supporting local. But…. I got the salted mocha carmel latte and it seriously tasted like a saltwater pool. I couldn’t taste any quality coffee, I do not think the coffee was worth $8. it was undrinkable- I had to go grab a coffee from somewhere else after. So dissapointed because i’d heard such great things about this place. That blue berry pastry was. Idk it was something.

Nice place to enjoy a great coffee. Sandwiches are delicious. Prices are reasonable but not inexpensive.

Cool vibe for a coffee shop right off the main square. I really don’t like leaving poor reviews for local shops- especially since coffee taste is based on personal preference. But I tried an iced almond milk latte with half lavender, and it was undrinkable. The quality of almond milk was poor; it had the consistency of water. The flavor of the espresso tasted extremely burnt, so the whole latte tasted like ash. I’m not much of a sweet coffee drinker, but that’s typically my safest bet in small towns. They also don’t have a drink menu posted, so it’s hard to know what you’re paying for. I took maybe 3 drinks out of this at least $7 latte and had to throw the rest away

It’s always a pleasant visit when in Kerrville! I love the interior of the shop; love the colors and old-fashioned decor. The coffee is super yummy, and so are their baked goods! I also appreciate the kindness and smiles from the employees! Such a cute little cafe to rest for a bit in between all the nice shops in the area.

Went in for some coffee and a light breakfast. Ambiance and service were on point. We highly recommend the avocado toast. It was so good, even Bubba was licking his lips! What made our experience even better was that they allow well behaved dogs and even had a treat jar for them. It’s a Kerrville “must try”.

Coffee Gem in quaint downtown Kerrville. Friendly, personable service. We had the “Bees Knees” signature drink and a Pumpkin Spice Latte, both delish. They also have a selection of pastries/cookies and sandwiches. Some outdoor seating on the shady sidewalk. Cool place, chill vibe. Recommended.

Vibrant little coffee shop tucked downtown kerrville. Small pastry case along with sandwich and salad options if you’re hungry. Had a great matcha tea along with an almond joy cookie which was fantastic. Decent amount of tables inside and a few out front make this a nice place to catch up with a friend or a few emails. Service was prompt and friendly!
