The food was good and well-prepared. My daughter absolutely loved her Mickey waffles, which were perfectly golden and came with all the classic toppings. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and was really impressed — the eggs were poached just right, and the hollandaise was creamy without being heavy. I tried the avocado toast and pancakes, both of which were pretty good. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Everything tasted fresh and came out warm, which isn’t always guaranteed at a busy hotel restaurant.
Service was friendly and efficient, even with the breakfast rush. Our server checked in often and made sure coffee and juice stayed full. The buffet and menu options offered a nice variety without feeling overwhelming, and everything we tried felt like it had been made with care.
While prices are a bit high, that’s expected for a Disney-area resort restaurant. The food quality, cheerful atmosphere, and convenience made it worth it. The Garden Grove strikes a great balance between relaxing and fun — a lovely spot for families, couples, or anyone wanting a good breakfast in a beautiful space.
Overall, a solid 4-star experience: tasty food, great service, and a charming setting that makes breakfast feel just a little more special.
The dining area is circular in shape and is centered around a large tree.
During this visit my wife and I each ordered the biscuits and gravy. It also comes with home fries and eggs any style. I chose scrambled eggs and it was a very healthy portion. The home fries were also seasoned well and had a nice crispiness to them. The biscuits and gravy were also good.
Overall I would recommend visiting Garden Grove for breakfast.
We went back the next day and placed an order for to-go.
We ordered:
1. 3 egg ham and cheese omelette – Cooked perfectly, but for the price, I don’t understand why it doesn’t come with potatoes. Sourdough toast was hard
2. How you like them – 2 over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns, and english muffin. This was the perfect amount of food for me. Hash browns were super crunchy, and the english muffin was nice and soft.
3. Side of sausage – this was plump and juicy. Very flavorful.
We chose to get food here because it was located in the hotel we were staying at. The food was good, but a little overpriced, I think. Maybe you’re paying for the convenience. Service was lacking, it seemed like they don’t like working and would rather talk to their co-workers.
No one ever sent me a message or called to let me know when it was ready. I finally went back again at 5:15 PM, and only then was I given a room—far from my friend’s.
I wasted more than three hours of my day dealing with this. What makes it worse is that no one even apologized.
