We were passing by and the kids wanted pizza. The wife found this place and were greeted by Corinna. She was very friendly and the pizza looked great. Definitely worth the stop for this pizza!

Ok let me start by saying I’ve eaten the pizza and wings here many times and in my opinion these guys are the best in the area. The pizza is always hot amd perfectly cooked, the crust has just that right amount of crispness that all good NY slices have. For me though the most important part of a pizza is the sauce, I like to taste the sauce and it has to be flavorful and this sauce does not disappoint! The toppings always taste fresh. The wings are my favorite, I always get mild wings or I’ll do a split of mild and hot (my wife can’t eat hot wings) the sauce is delicious and the wings are always cooked to perfection. A very important factor in any restaurant is consistency and so far the food is always consistent meaning the wings are always cooked the same, no surprises! No for today’s food. I got a meatball sub, a cheese steak sandwich and an antipasto. The cheese steak was delicious, the steak was nice and tender although it could use more onion and peppers. The meatball was delicious, the sauce was nice and flavorful and both sandwiches came toasted Italian rolls that were fresh and tasty. The antipasto was typical except the addition of giardiniera which was a nice touch. The only negative thing I can say is the phone manners of rhe guys working there are not the best, when they answer it feels like the equivalent of talking to your father when he’s busy doing something. Its like you disturbed them or something Lol. However! Once you get to the place and talk to the guys they are alot nicer and friendlier in person.

Pavones Central Square is THE pizza spot. I can’t recommend this place enough now. This is our go to place for pizza and wings and the quality is nothing short of perfection and deliciousness. I highly recommend the fried mushrooms and golden wings but everything is always mouth watering good. Thank you Pavones for providing such delicious food!! My family and I will be customers for a long time

After the disaster that was the party where no one liked the food, the owner reached out and wanted to make things right. I was personally called and the owner offered a credit for the order I had placed and wanted to give his business another try. I want to let everyone seeing this know, my family and I had ordered last week (garlic pizza, dozen wings and fried mushrooms) — everything was night and day from before. The garlic pizza was delicious, we opted for the gold wings which were crispy and delicious this time and the fried mushrooms were huge and came with a delicious ranch to dip them in. I appreciate Pavones reaching out to make good on the bad experience and we look forward to having them as part of our normal pizza rotation. The owner genuinely seems to care about his business and the experience that customers get.

No thank you! Sausage roll had nothing “roll” about it. Literally a piece of sausage sliced in half with some of the thinnest onions and peppers I’ve ever seen. Stuffed into a pocket of dough then burned into a perfect brick. Garlic knots hard as a rock and dry dry dry. And I think they missed the word GARLIC because that was non existent. Calzone was burnt and had some yummy foil stuck all over the bottom. 2 stars because the wings were decent.

I placed an order on Christmas Eve through Uber Eats, which is the only delivery option available to my location. The order included 36 wings and two pizzas—one pepperoni and one half pepperoni, half mushroom. When the order arrived, both pizzas were plain cheese.
I called the pizzeria around 4pm to determine whether I had made an ordering error or if the order had been mixed up. The person who answered the phone repeatedly barked “We’re closed” and repeatedly spoke over me telling me the business was closed (maybe just don’t answer the phone?) until I was finally able to explain that I wasn’t calling to place an order, but because my existing order was incorrect.
I was then told this was my fault for ordering through a third-party app. He stated he could see that toppings were selected, but that they did not come through properly from Uber Eats. When I asked why no one had called me to clarify the order if you could tell something wasn’t right with how the order came through, I was again told it was my problem for using a delivery service. I had no idea using an app that a business partners with means I do not get what I pay for or order.
Mistakes happen, especially on a busy holiday—but the complete lack of courtesy, accountability, or basic customer service is unacceptable. Had this situation been handled with even minimal professionalism, I would not be writing this review. Instead, the dismissive and rude manner in which I was spoken to left not only me, but everyone present at our family gathering, shocked.
This experience ensured the loss of our business, and everyone who witnessed the interaction agreed they would not order from here again. Extremely disappointing customer service.

I came with a large group of pizza snobs and everyone loved it. Crispy bottom, chewy, foldable – checks all the boxes. This family needs to bump all the places like Cam’s and Stefanos out of the North Country’s top seats. Those places pale in comparison.
If you’re looking for real NY style pizza with authentic flavors in the correct proportions, this is the spot. 5 stars, cannot recomend enough.

We have been supporting Pavones since they came to Central Square. The food is very good. However, the telephone ordering experience has been terrible almost every time and picking up in the shop is not a friendly atmosphere.
Telephone: every time they are talking to others in the background while taking my order. It’s noisy in the background, not only can I not hear them well, but I have to ask if they are speaking to me or someone else.
Atmosphere: brusque, abrupt, inappropriate. Conversation between co-workers is snarky/rude, and on our last visit (and possibly final), the f-bomb was used several times.
Very unfortunate, as your establishment is appreciated, but the sharp edges need a lot of work.

Used to order here all the time after they came into my area. I had an unexpired coupon they wouldn’t honor because “our prices have gone up that’s too good of a deal”… the manager that spoke to me was curt and rude… put an expiration on your coupons if you’re going to renege.
