DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! Worst gyro I ever had!!!!!! Everything is frozen or from a jar. The tzatziki sauce was store bought and just sour cream with chunks of cucumber and NO FLAVOR. You can buy better gyro meat at market basket in freezer section than that poor excuse for what they call “meat” here at Pauly’s.
Also the service was terrible. I waited over 30 mi it’s for 2 gyros when there was only one order in front of mine. They were very slow and disrespectful. I will NEVER go back and hope others do not waste their time going here either. If I could give negative stars I would.

This place is amazing. I never write reviews but I have to say, their chicken is THE BEST grilled chicken I’ve ever had. The buffalo chicken is 10/10 and the servers are always incredibly nice.

This was by far the worst gyro I’ve ever had. Nothing is fresh. The sauce is rancid and the “meat” was frozen. Flavorless. Terrible.

I’ve been to Pauly’s numerous times and it never disappoints! I didn’t know until tonight that there was different spice levels! The mild spice made an excellent to an already amazing meal! I would go as far to suggest that Pauly’s Pockets has the best fries in Durham, not too greasy and crisped to perfection. The staff, including owner Pauly, is always friendly. 10/10 would recommend Pauly’s Pockets!!

The falafel is really great, I got a combo with chicken. The curly fries were awesome too, it’s been a while since I had any but they were definitely better than ones I’ve had before! Have visited two times in the last week and no complaints, will definitely be back again!

Paul and his younger co-worker (can’t remember his name) are litterally the nicest, most attentive, authentic people you can have wait on you in NH! They ask how you are, have deep conversations while waiting on you and truely care about every customer that come through that door! The employees and great food are why I come 1x a month and will continue to do so!
Food: I always get the same thing, Greek salad, extra feta and extra beef, love it! 5 of 5 all day!
If I ever open a buisness, I would poach these 2 amazing workers in a heart beat!

I ate there a lot when I was a student at UNH (MBA 2002). During my last visit to NH last September I stopped by to say hello to Pauli and of course to eat there again. Pauly makes the best falafel I’ve ever tried!!!

Satisfying natural delicious! Pauly has to be the nicest, happiest guy around. This was my first visit, i had the falafel pocket…. it was a hunger slayer. I look forward to going back and bringing a crowd. They have limited indoor seating, about 7 ish tables including this cozy table for one for solitarians!
