My wife and I, every day we spend near this restaurant and from the first day it caught our attention, until we had time and we had a getaway, if you like drinks or strong cocktails the blue margarita is spectacular, you can’t miss enjoying the banana pudding dessert, Mr. Paul is very attentive

02/25/24 update: I’m not usually an oysters guy, but Paul’s Mexican Oysters are BANGIN’. The margaritas, fried shrimp, garlic butter shrimp and homemade brownies with ice cream are also all excellent. Paul’s also makes a mean fish sandwich. This trip, we had the Mexican Oysters, 24 oz. blue margarita (oh yeah), big fish sandwich, fish and chips and brownie with ice cream. All were seriously delicious and very reasonably priced. Fun spot to have a drink on the deck or on top of the boat and take in a view of the sunset. Festive down-home hangout with great food and drinks. Paul’s has done some tasteful recent makeovers: fresh paint, new deck and upgrades. Really chill and festive. The bar, restaurant and patio were impeccably clean and showed great pride in ownership. Check-out Paul’s for some killer seafood and a laid-back pirate bar. If you aren’t a fan of Paul’s, you’re probably a Karen.

Great food in a place that looks like a ship! You might miss this bar/restaurant if you blink while driving down highway 6. The fish and nachos were very tasty, and the service was excellent. They also have a drive through. Don’t forget the banana pudding for desert!

I’ve passed by this place many times and was very curious about how it is. It’s not a place for luxury enthusiasts, but the old-fashioned boat is charming. Good, typically American food and friendly service.

Had such a nice Sunday because of Paul! The boudin balls, fish tacos, and fish & chips were delicious! Margaritas less than $4 and sooo good. We will definitely be back soon! To top it off- great service!

I must say for a hole in the wall that the food was great. I had the red snapper stuffed with crab and shrimp with a side salad and balsamic dressing, and garlic bread.

The margaritas are on sale for $2.50. Since I was only have 1, then I selected the large Mango Margarita with sugar rimmed.

The food was Great. I knocked off 1 star for decor and horrified at the bathroom. The food was too good to lower it for abysmal bathroom environment. I would go back with my own hand sanitizer.

Quick drinks and munchies before we went home today. Chips and salsa was good, home made tortilla chip were a pleasant surprise. Not a full bar yet so drinks were limited, but $3 Margaritas were actually good. 5.99 crawfish special today too, didn’t get any but still a good price. It’s an old place but has a nice outside sitting area. We will return… Well until next time signing off Two Peas..

Stopped in for crawfish and was disappointed they were out stayed anyway and got the “Cajun” shrimp which came slathered in this ketchup type paste. Nothing Cajun about it. I also asked for extra spicy and there wasn’t a spec of spice in it lol. The bartender was sweet and the margaritas were good. I’d go back for drinks but food not so much.
