Biggest tenderloin ive ever attempted. Very small town, Craig MO. Service was for some reason slow. Everybody there got their food before I did. Kinda felt like they wanted me to leave.to 45 minutes to get food after I ordered. But when tenderloin arrived it was well worth the wait

Paula’s is one of our all time favorite restaurants! They serve mainly homestyle meals, and their prices that can’t be beat. The portions are often huge on items such as the hunters skillet (my husbands favorite!) omelettes, tenderloins, pizza etc. you’ll often find me there at least once a week!

Incredible portion sizes of very good food. We went on a Friday afternoon at about 12:30. They were very busy, as expected, but we were seated right away. We were advised that it would take a bit before we got our food, which didn’t matter to us, as we were in no hurry. When the food came out, I was floored at the portion sizes. I wish I would have thought to take a photo before digging in. I have enough left over in a take-out box for 3 more meals. We will definitely be going back!

Excellent food and service. Large amount of food to last a few days. One pancake was served on a pizza pan it was so huge. Becca was our waitress and so helpful. Worth driving an hour and a half!

Quiet little out of the way place with the most amazing food. And the portions are huge for the price. If you leave this little gem still hungry, you didn’t go to the right place. I definitely recommend to anyone between Omaha and St. Joe, swing in for breakfast or lunch. The sign says they open at 7am and close at 2pm, but can’t confirm that. The staff is super friendly and it’s a pretty clean stop.

My only complaint is that they seem to be cash or check only. Did not see an ATM on site and not sure how close one is. A $20 will be enough for most everything on the menu, though.

The pork tenderloin was so delicious and so huge it almost qualifies to have its own zip code. It almost completely covers the 15” tray it is delivered on. This tenderloin was reasonably thick with a light well seasoned breading. I can’t wait to go back and try breakfast or a burger. The table behind me ordered a burger. It was quite big too.

To be fair I didn’t eat here. I drove nearly an hour to try the famous tenderloin. Well, it was sold out. Honestly, I’m glad it was the place had flies all over the inside and genuinely looked dirty. There was a cluster of people at the door and nothing stated seat yourself. I felt bad for the workers, the place is severely understaffed and a complete dumpster fire. I will never return.

This is a great place, typically open only weekdays.

A great small town cafe’ that will be crowded when you get there ut the waiter staff is phenomenal.

The Pork tenderloin has to be 12″ accross.

This place is great, and worth the drive and wait.
I took my nephew to Paula’s Cafe for lunch today because we like to spend our time trying new places each Friday. Anyway, we drove two hours to try this place and we were not disappointed! We arrived at 1:35pm and there were no empty tables, but another family was kind enough to let us sit with them. We had a good time talking and looking around the dining room. The service was excellent, even though they were not expecting such a large crowd today. We waited for about 45-50 minutes for the food to arrive, but they were upfront with us on the ETA when we first walked in. Unfortunately, we came for the tenderloin sandwich which they had sold out before we arrived (they told us they sold out when we walked in as well), but we had driven two hours and we would be sure to get something else to try.
My nephew and I both got the Paula’s Burger with the 1lb patty, one slice of apple pie for him, and a couple waters. The burgers were great, though a bit messy. Be sure to gather your napkins before your first bite. I’m told the apple pie was delicious, and it did look amazing. Next time I will save space for my own slice.

I don’t know how I was able to eat the whole thing, but I paid for it later with my food coma after my 2 hour trip home.

We will definitely return to try the tenderloin.
