We went here for lunch and a rest after s day in Noho. The food was delicious and the prices quite reasonable. I had fish chowder and my husband had a grilled fish entree and everything was just delicious. We were seated quickly and the server was friendly and on top of things. The atmosphere is laid back but bright and fun. I’m glad we went there and will happily go back.

This place is conveniently located in Thornes with a nice view overlooking the street. The interior is bright and open. The food has been consistently delicious. I’d especially recommend their salads and onion rings. The onion rings are uniquely crispy, while still feeling light and fluffy. Their prices and servers are also very good, which will keep us coming back.

Entrees were quite good. my partner ordered a kale salad and veggies tempura with sesame ginger sauce were very tasty. I had the chop chop salad, and enjoyed it. also, the risotto cakes were good, but was confused by the tartar sauce accompaniment.

Paul and Elizabeth’s offers large portions at low cost with a warm ambience and friendly, customer-service oriented wait staff. Local ingredients used with a list of farms at the top of their daily specials menu and you can taste the freshness. My order came quickly and I was really glad I added grilled portobello mushrooms. Tasty and comforting meal I would definitely eat again.

I personally do not eat vegetarian all too often but I stopped here in North Hampton and it was excellent food. The environment and vibe are great and I love the spiral stairs going up to the restaurant. Definitely stop by here if you are interested in a healthy alternative meal.

My wife and I were in Northampton recently (past the noon hour) and were walking up hill on Old South Street from the Parking Garage toward Main Street when we spotted a Paul and Elizabeth’s entrance sign. Hunger and curiosity brought us in and mounting a spiral staircase. The place was handsome and restful, and with a view. We soon realized we had entered from the back, so we went to the front and asked for seating for two. This was available without a wait. (The front entrance is by way of Thornton’s at 150 Main Street, Northampton, MA, with the restaurant at the rear.)

I’ve been going to Paul and Elizabeth’s whenever I’m in or near Northampton – for 40 years – and have often taken other people there. The food is outstanding in nutrition, creativity, and flavor. All of it is great, but especially outstanding are the brown rice croquettes served with a delicious sauce. And the desserts are naturally sweetened without refined sugar. Most recently I ordered the vegan chocolate mousse. Although it’s called a cake, it actually has only a thin crust and no gluten. Anyway, it was wonderful. In 40 years I have never had a disappointing meal at Paul and Elizabeth’s. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent, leading me to believe that, in addition to being a great place to eat, it may also be a great place to work.
