My husband had the large chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and it was very filling and delicious. I had the Chef’s omelette and it was perfection. The meat and vegetables used were all top qualify and fresh and absolutely delicious. It was so filling that I couldn’t even finish it, and I’m a good eater. We took a cinnamon roll to go, as I was too full to eat another bite. I just finished eating that after heating it up in the microwave and it too was beyond expectations. We go out for breakfast a lot, so we can say that this one of the best breakfast spots in the area. We will definitely be back! Don’t sleep on Hold Hill!

This is a little local diner with great food, good prices, a menu item for everyone, and nice staff! I had a burger with fries and it was just what I wanted! Hubby had a Monte Cristo Sandwich that he said is the best he has ever had! Give it a try if you’re near Gold Hill, Oregon!

Im disappointed that they have decided to change their breakfast potatoes to deep fried crispy little french fries… Pattis WAS the only place left in the valley to get actual grill top cooked potatoes with peppers and onions. They made the size of the large Chicken Fried Steak smaller, I ate the entire thing no problem and before I could barely eat half I highly recommend going back to what had me telling everyone to eat at your restaurant.

Patties is always spot on! Sara and her crew deliver quality food at a fair price. If you’re looking for fast food go somewhere else. Each meal is prepared after you order. This takes time, but well worth the wait! I’ve tried several different dishes, but my go to is anything with biscuits and gravy!!

I am sad because our waitress did not have a name badge. Service was fantastic and the food even better. I got Denver Omelet with biscuits and gravy, the large with enough leftovers for 4 meals, I don’t ear a lot. When in Gold Hill stop here, you won’t be disappointed.

This place is a real hidden gem! I went here yesterday for the first time, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I’ll admit that was a little put-off by the appearance when I saw the building, and the inside looks a little worse-for-wear; however, what the restaurant lacks in appearance, it certainly makes up for in the food and service. First of all, the portions are huge and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. On top of that, it really is delicious. They have some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The biscuits were light and fluffy, and gravy had some great flavor, not bland and boring like that at other local diners. The Philly omelet also tasted great; I’m not sure how many eggs they use, but it was enormous, too! And to top it all off, the service was very welcoming and friendly. The waitress (who I assume is also the owner) kept coming around to check on us and fill our waters and coffee. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I will definitely be back! It’s not too far away from Medford and is absolutely worth a short drive.

Wow, didn’t expect the food to be that good, added this to our list of don’t miss breakfast joints.
We showed early morning and the place was busy, I have the corned beef hash with biscuits and gravy, the corned beef hash was excellent and had tasty crispy edges… The biscuits and gravy just dropped it off! Great combo. My wife had a light breakfast (smaller appetite portion) with ham, egg, potatoes with onion and peppers and an English muffin, the potatoes are yummy and shouldn’t be missed!

Next time you’re in Gold Hill you HAVE to try Patti’s Kitchen! It’s truly decadent food. Almost everything is made from scratch and you can taste it. Not only is the food amazing but the service is top-notch. I will be back again and again.

I’ve heard great things about Patti’s. I tried the chicken fried steak. Not very well seasoned and the gravy was lumpy and not very tasty. The home fries weren’t fresh. The eggs and toast were great. I still want to go back and try something else. Cute diner, great service.
