TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave’s Hot Chicken has some of the best food anywhere! There hot chicken is amazing, no matter what way you have it. Great on it’s own, a sandwich, or a slider. Their “not chicken” cauliflower is also very good. The menu here is not all that large, but each item on it is fantastic! The restaurant is clean and service is fast. Staff here is friendly. It is easy to order online or order in store. Stop by if you have never been in before.

One of the best chicken sliders I’ve ever had! The spice seasoning is fantastic, especially if you enjoy spicy food. I haven’t tried the Reaper yet, but the Extra Hot level is definitely something I’d recommend to anyone who loves heat.
Their vegetarian cauliflower slider and cauliflower pieces are also excellent, which makes this place a great option for both meat-lovers and vegetarians. I wish I had tried this place sooner. I’m definitely going to be a regular now!

Usually get door dashed but I absolutely love this place. Their chicken is AMAZING! Soft and chewy not overdone and juicy! The spices are something you can’t get at another fast food chain. Definitely recommend. They will hook you up and you will be addicted just like me!

I was hesitant to go because friends warned me it was expensive, but $10 for a chicken sandwich meal and $5 for a shake is pretty standard for this area. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the interior is fun and bright. Overall I really enjoyed my experience.
Update: My daughter and I have been back multiple times and they have been great every time!

They’re very shotty here. I’ve had issues with not getting everything I ordered if it’s sauces or actual food items. The food always comes out great though, very delightful. The prices are a bit much but they do make their chicken fresh everyday. Overall, it’s decent but not something I’d get to frequently unless you’re looking to break the bank and pay for thin air items.

Wanted to start off by saying I walked in and was greeted with a friendly face. The customer service was immaculate. The workers were very nice.
I got the number 2 spice level hot. The food is got nice flavor and they put the pickles on the side(a good thing to me anyways) also got a vanilla milkshake which paired great with the sliders and fries.

Nice place to grab a quick bite. Food was very good. Surprisingly, the medium level hot wasn’t that hot. I may bump it up a level next time. Also, they have NOT chicken, which was a very tasty cauliflower patty
