Excellent service, the food exceeded my expectations. We started with the Shrimp Scampi appetizer and Chicken Pastine (both of which are worth a return trip). Then moved onto their special for the evening Italian Tripe (have never had this before, only available on Wednesdays, I WILL return on Wednesdays for this dish). My wife had a grilled ham and cheese on Italian bread made in scampi sauce, which she loved. Patte’s is a hidden gem with ample seating and friendly staff, worth a try, you won’t be disappointed. Worth mentioning multiple tap options which came cold, just how I like them!

Brought 7 people visiting from out of town after raving about the Fat Pat and the Pompino. The place was not at all busy. As soon as we were seated, we were given red solo cups to drink out of. Let that slide. But when our food was brought to the table and a pile of paper plates was given to us, I was humiliated in front of our guests. All of the other tables around us had regular plates and glasses. The food was good, although the Fat Pat was definitely lacking on the steak. Very disappointed in our experience. We’ve been coming to Patte’s for years but this experience will change that.

You Need To Know? Arrived around 7;00 pm & were able to be seated immediately. Ordered the corn chowder w/ roasted red peppers soup which was absolutely amazing, a must have. Other dishes were the Fat Pat Cheesesteak sandwich which is on an entire loaf of bread, chicken fingers which were perfectly breaded, & a cheese steak quesadilla which was lacking on the meat but loaded with peppers. Food was all around delicious & crowd was rooting on the local Wolfpack! Now You Know!

Walking in with my friend, who happens to be Black, the patrons stared like they’d never saw a Black person before. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the hostess acted like we were bothering her. It was disgusting how rude she treated us when she seated us. I’m white and shouldn’t have to worry about a Black person feeling comfortable where I take them. Needless to say, we didn’t stick around for the food.

First they have gluten free options. I ordered the scampi. I had to pick around the raw hard garlic. Who just puts raw garlic in scampi? There are other ingredients to add flavor. I’m aware garlic is the main ingredient but that all you taste is raw garlic. And btw I love garlic ( but I usually eat it cooked) Won’t be back.

I’ve been going to Patte’s for over 30 years and it is still one of the best! I no longer live in the area but when I come back I always go to Patte’s. The atmosphere, food and price can’t be beat. And the “Patte’s Pour” for wine is the best!
