Stopped in at lunch time but decided to do their all-day-available breakfast. I ordered the country fried steak (choice of white or brown gravy) with 2 eggs, cheese grits and a biscuit. The food arrived hot, tasty and fresh EXCEPT for the biscuit, which was obviously left over from earlier breakfast and a tough chewy mess. Since I was well into my meal before trying the biscuit I didn’t say anything about it until after I was finished. Our waitperson apologized saying that the biscuits are usually a highlight and hoped we’d try it again.

My over easy eggs were gooey and undercooked. I had waitresses keep trying to fill my tea cup with coffee. Simply asking each time instead of just doing it on autopilot would avoid that. Lastly I didn’t appreciate the religious garbage on my tea cup.

Stopped on way after long day. The special for dinner this evening was Fried Chicken with 2 sides. The Fried Chicken was Crispy outside, juicy inside, appropriate temperature, and even though fried, it was not greasy (which is great!).

I’m glad we found this diner. We from Jersey so…breakfast is always good. But sometimes food comes out bit differently even I order same menu. Otherwise service and coffee food is good. I will try dinner someday!

In a word, excellent! We’re always looking for good new breakfast place and this one certainly checks that box. Everything we ordered was great the the biscuits and gravy are in a league of their own.
