Reviews
Likes: Hard-working, clean-cut young servers, likely college students. Selection of fare at decent prices. Freshness of food. Homemade salads and spreads. All that came out of the kitchen and went to other tables looked delicious, and even kids sitting behind us finished all of their food.
Dislikes: Iced tea is very weak. It is kind of loud so is hard for waitress to hear orders. Ran out of soup du jour and it was only noon. Uncomfortable chairs, although sturdy. No check back by waitress or offer of beverage refills.
The prices are extremely competitive, but the quality is high and the recommendation of the staff is helpful and successful.
Let’s define that, 3 the size of your plate!
Not only that, but pecans and bacon in your pancake if you want! I do! It’s a plethora of combinations that you can make anything from sausage, bananas, M&M’s etc.. Delicious
Let’s talk about orange juice, a machine that slices squeezes it right in front of you if you sit at the bar. Valente oranges I think. Absolutely wonderful tasting on the tongue.
I love coffee do they have a great grog, the aroma and The taste is outstanding. In fact I order it every time I go.
I got an omelette called the kitchen sink, this thing has everything in it. They have so many unusual dishes that are truly awesome. Get a good morning mimosa if you wish. All the locals know this place and it is truly a treasure. It better be good if I’m driving from Western hills all the way to Oxford. It’s not cheap, truly worth every penny. My absolute favorite breakfast place go to.
I’ve been going there for more than 10yrs.
I wish they made the muffins like the old days. They were incredible and when they were gone they were gone. The owner would make them fresh.
I gave the service a 4, it’s not that the service was bad, it wasn’t. I think it’s more the due diligence trying to serve and cater to the customers with our server. Let me say these people are on a mission.
They are not hanging around or smoking a cigarette outside like waffle House.
So if you want a delightful place with great food this is it.

So many hrs.
I have been in love with this place for years.
Enjoy
This place seemed more interested in attending to the volume of customers than the equity delivered.
When my food came out cold, they quickly replaced it – with more cold home fries. When I mentioned that “It seems like they might have just put them from the freezer to the stove, “Oh yeah, that happens a lot. They go so fast that it is hard to warm them, they nist don’t have the time on the stove.”
So – the kitchen’s challenge with time management is passed on to the customer with no additional offer to fix the issue.
The hollandaise sauce fell flat and had little flavor.
They’re clearly banking on staying busy in a college town without delivering high quality.
This place was a big a disappointment for a high price.
I have had it all french toast, pancakes, home fries, potato cakes, their omelettes (my favorite is everything but the kitchen sink ), biscuits and gravy! I recommend it all!
Their orange juice is freshly squeezed! And is a must when we come here! Also their coffee is delicious! I always get an iced coffee with hazelnut and vanilla, then I add sugar and cream.
