Man I don’t know what happened here. They had the greatest cheesesteak in brick. Looks like they just don’t care about the food anymore. I think they changed owners the cheesesteak was honestly horrible I had two bites and threw it out felt sick after. There was no meat and they chopped it so tiny like mouse food it was all burnt.

We also had the Italian sub both were top-notch great bread perfectly cooked cheese steak proper amount of cheese.
Friendly happy staff. Clean restrooms. Plenty of room for dining in.
They also have one of those multi-selection multi-flavor soda machines.

This restaurant has the best cheese steaks in the Point Pleasant / Brick area hands down. I haven’t had their pizza yet. It’s a cozy place, not fancy, but has enough room for quite a few people. They need to offer small and large size fries however. I find myself wanting them, but there are to many for one person, so I don’t order them. If they had a small size I would.

Love it here. The pizza is always great. Staff is always on top of it and extremely friendly. The restaurant is clean with lots of tables to dine in. Excellent garlic knots and French fries. The cheese stake is also next level delicious and a must try!

I’ve been a Point resident for 25 years. 5 of those as a literal neighbor to Pat’s. Countless wonderful visits. A bigger fan and promoter of their business you wouldn’t find.
I’m sad to say the King has fallen, the legend has died. Over the years I’ve noticed a modest decline but they were still several notches above their next closest competitor.
The last year I’ve been there about 6 times and each time the downward slide progressed … I don’t know what has changed, ownership, management? I’ve no idea.
As a VERY long time and loyal customer I didn’t want to give up on them easily.
Sadly, my last visit will indeed be my last. Their food sunk to a new low … two cheesesteaks that were a soggy, odd tasting and disgusting mess and a pizza that left me embarrassed for them (all for the bargain price of $66). I saddens me to have lost what was a local legend but as they say, all good things must come to and end…. And Pat’s reign as “the best” is certainly over.

Pat’s Pizza makes the best pizza and the best Philly Cheese Steaks EVER. Check the mouth watering Cheese steak pictures of my 2 visits there. Amazing staff that listens to the way you want your food put together… I highly recommend Pat’s and can’t wait to go back again.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon to see if the cheesesteaks lived up to the Top10 rating in NJ recently received. And, they did not disappoint!!! Fresh bread, fresh cooked and tasty!!! Somewhat crowded and steady flow of take out customers but food was ready in a reasonable time. Decor looks like it may have been original in this small strip mall but all very clean. Bonus… right across the street from Point Creamery to get dessert.

Excellent cheese steak! Perfect bread and filling. Pizza was also good. Could be a little crispier imho. They have much more – meatballs, sausage, mussels, etc. Nobody in by 11:20, but busy by 12:00. Nice people.

Not sure what happened here but the cheesesteaks were absolutely disgusting. Chucks of “meat” with a terrible oily taste. Chicken tenders used to be thin and not there are fat pieces. We will never order here again.

Sometimes cheese steaks have dry crispy bread, sometimes the bread is just too soft. My cheese steak experience at Pat’s was right up there with the best of Philly! My cheese steak had awesome soft, slightly chewy bread with just the right amount of crispy crust. The steak was juicy and smelled wonderful as they cooked it. Most places skimp on the cheese. Not at Pat’s… Mine had plenty of cheese.
I know you could order pizza and other Italian fair at Pat’s. But if you have never tried the cheese steaks here, you are definitely missing out. Even if you had to drive an hour to get here… It would be totally worth it!
