The outdoor fall decor was really nice, as was the entrance. We felt rushed by our server from the time that we entered (first customers of the day) until we left. Most of the food we ordered was mediocre, but the black eyed peas, sweet potato casserole, and greens were very good.

Got a nice fried fish sandwich with 2 sides for about $12 for lunch. Catfish, candied yams & cheddar jalapeños were great. Sweet tea was good southern tea. Waitress was fantastic, ask for Tonya.

Our first time discovering this wonderful down-home restaurant was a pure delight! The awesome “Tonya” was so friendly and helpful in what all we decided to order. Everything reminded us of Sunday dinner at Grandma’s. Huge pieces of delicious meatloaf, creamed corn, candied yams, fried okra, collard greens, REAL mashed potatoes with gravy, hot rolls, and warm apple cobbler for dessert. Such a charming place! Can’t wait to return soon and try some different menu items!

These folks know how to do great home cooking. Beautiful place. All the waitresses were working together to serve everyone. We had to wait a little while for our food but it was worth the wait. Looking forward to stoping here on our next trip through.

Staff here is overly friendly. Inside dining is currently suspended due to covid pandemic but outside eating is available and lots of to go orders also. The biscuits are on point here, certainly recommend this place for a nice late morning breakfast.

First time here , we had the meatloaf and fried trout , all the veggies were fresh and all made from scratch , the owner Pat came by to speak and then brought us back a jar of salsa to take home !!! We will definitely be back !!!
