I have been a Patisserie customer for over 10 years. Unfortunately the quality of their cakes have been going down consistently. On 8/22/2023 i bought a Strawberry Vanilla cake. Unfortunately the icing of the cake tastes just like the cake I can buy from a grocery store. For the premium price you pay for their cakes the customers are expecting a premium product.

Called to inquire about ordering custom cakes for my daughters birthday parties. Employee on the phone was almost trying to “talk me out of it” by telling me how expensive its going to be to have a custom cake how I wanted. I never even mentioned price or budget. I am fully capable of affording what I am asking for, I would suggest not being so reluctant to customers. I am looking for someone to have as a cake person for my childrens parties and events for the coming years and this wasnt a place i felt comfortable with.

Hands down the best bakery in the area. My husband and I moved our wedding up with less than a month to plan after unfortunately learning about a very unexpected and serious health condition of a loved one. We moved the wedding from Massachusetts to a backyard in Saginaw, and we ended up ordering the cake through the Patisserie. Penny and the staff at the Patisserie were so flexible, understanding, and accomodating of our questions and requests in regards to the cake. The cake itself was utterly stunning, complex, and delicious. We ended up going with a marble cake with cream cheese frosting and oreo ganache filling. The entire cake was eaten that night, and our families couldn’t stop talking about how it was the best cake they’d ever eaten – seriously! I would absolutely recommend the Patisserie and commend them on their exceptional communication and beautiful product despite a very last minute, difficult situation. Penny is a saint.

The pastries were good and flaky, but I had pecan shells in my maple pecan danish. The cashier was not friendly at all, on the edge of being rude. When I started to leave I said, “thank you, have a nice weekend.” All she said was “yeah”. Nothing like “same to you, you do the same”, nothing. It’s a shame too…. She acted as if it’s ok to treat a customer any way she pleased because she knows there’s not another bakery in town. But I’ll do without fresh baked pastries if that’s the attitude she serves up.

I’m so impressed with the Patisserie. Everyone that I encountered there was so polite and helpful. The cake was for my mom’s birthday party. It was a beautiful decorated banana split cake. Sadly I am gluten intolerant so I didn’t get to taste it.

AMAZING!!!! They deserve an award for their amazing cupcakes!!! The chocolate raspberry and orange sickle are to die for. Great customer service. It was my first time and they are so nice, they will explain everything from prices, flavors, even how to store/serve them. They also have so many other goodies just in case you’re not a cupcake person. If you have never been here you definitely should go.
