Our wedding cake was perfect. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. The staff at the bakery were friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. Delivery was right on time and everything ran smoothly. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I have been ordering cakes for years from this store. I recently ordered a gluten free cake. Not the first time I’ve ordered this cake. And it was inedible. I went back to the store with most of the cake the next day and asked them to see what was wrong with it. The chef tasted it and said it was perfectly fine. My guests actually spit it out when they ate it yesterday. The chef/owner insisted it was perfectly fine. I know she was covering up for something g that was wrong. They lost a longtime customer over a mistake that could have easily been remedied.

First time using them and the quality blew my mind! What a delicious cake and I don’t even like cake!!! The detail is out of this world! I was a bit nervous about the cake pops and cookies because I had a bit of a budget, however, the owner suggested another option and I was VERY happy with her work! The guests at my daughter’s birthday would not stop talking about how good and moist the cake was. I must admit, the owner comes off a bit unapproachable but she listens to what you want and she’s good at what she does! I’m so glad I decided to move forward with my order in this location. I will definitely be coming back!!

If I could rate this experience with no stars, I would. I’ve been ordering my kids birthday cakes from this establishment for the last 3 years. Today I went to pick up my daughters birthday cake, I handed the person behind the counter my receipt which thoroughly describes the cake decor(cream and baby blue etc.). She then brings out a black and red cake. I let her know thats not my cake and suggested that she reads the receipt fully to ensure she’s pulling the correct cake. Once she brings out the cake it reads “ happy 10 birthday” with some of the icing smudged in the design and clear lines under the message. I mentioned the smudging and typo she responded with “ honey this is not Publix, nobody is here to fix the cake”. Highly annoyed, I told her I shouldnt have to pay full price for a damaged cake with a typo. I then asked her not to refer to me as honey as I am a customer. She continued to refer to me as honey several times over (so disrespectful to any customer). I also asked at the very least if she could correct the typo by adding “Th” to the 10, with a looming attitude she agreed. She then came from the backoffice with a consent form and asking for a picture of my ID. Never once at Pastry Is Art or any other bakery have I ever had to sign a consent form and share my ID. I expressed not wanting to sign the consent form, she then grabbed on to the cake firmly and advised that if I didn’t sign it I couldnt take the cake. Seeing that my daughters party was the next day I had to sign documents which seemed so unfair and not client centric. Also keep in mind at this point she already took my credit card for final payment (the cake was paid in full). Not only did I leave embarrassed but with a damaged cake that isn’t worth the cost. As someone who has supported this establishment for years I am truly saddened and upset by the way this matter was handled. Customer Service is clearly not a focus and certain customers are not valued. Chef Jenny, be mindful of who you have in a client facing role at your business, not everyone is skilled to handle client issues as their inconsiderate approach could be very damaging to your brand. I’m so disappointed.

I recently ordered a cake from this bakery for my daughter’s third birthday. The cake was not what I ordered. I clearly specified what I did not want on the cake, and the complete opposite was done. Everything I asked to not be on the cake in regards to toppings, was on the cake. I was also offered the option for a cookie cake or a pound cake. I chose the pound cake. Whoever I was speaking with while placing my order never communicated with the person who would be baking the cake because the day before pick up I was told the cake had to be cookie. Not only was the cake not what I wanted, but it also had to be changed last minute due to their poor communication. After sending a complaint about the whole situation someone reached out to me to then just ignore me. I sent a follow up message asking what was the point of them reaching out as if they were concerned about my complaint to then not respond at all. That message has also had no response. I initially chose this place because they did my daughter’s cake and cookies for her first birthday, and everything turned out great. I’m not sure what has happened that this time around it was not the same. When you pay more than $200 for a cake you obviously expect for your requests to be listened to, and for things to be handled professionally. I will not be using this bakery again, and I will not be recommending it to others as well.

The servings are great especially when you consider the price you’re paying. All of the employees were very polite and welcoming. The food and free dessert were all delicious! I got a free little cheesecake cup and it came with an adorable spoon with my sandwich. I’ll absolutely be back. Definitely take advantage of the wonderful lunch special that comes with a free Caesar salad

Although known for their incredible desserts, they have fantastic lunch options. The butifarra sandwich (Peruvian pork) was really good. The tuna baguette was delicious as well. The complimentary dessert cups that come with lunch were phenomenal. Especially the coconut cup. I ordered macaroons for a work event and they made then fresh to order. They were outstanding. 100% would recommend. Friendly service too.
