Pastori’s was redesigned when Bill and Georgia (the owners of Pastori’s) told Food Network chef Robert Irvine that their restaurant was failing. So Robert got a few designer people and he gave them 2 days with $10,000 to completely redesign the restaurant. The original menu had over 400 ITEMS on it and Robert shortened it down to only the top 5 they sell. It looks like a 21st Century restaurant now! And it is great!

I watch Restaurant Impossible all the time. I was hoping for changes then what was on TV. Unfortunately I was wrong, first of all we came in on a Saturday around 5pm and it was completely dead. When we sat down we were handed this enormous menu (old menu). I was so overwhelmed by how much was on the menu. So I picked a philly wrap. It was ok but not amazing (could use some seasoning). My family ordered the ny strip steak and it was terrible. The 1 thing I loved was the fries they were great. The decor was obviously nice because of the show. The waitress was very nice, but I give them a 2 out of 5.

DISGUSTING! I got very excited to go there again after years because Robert Irvine & co. from Retaurant Impossible came to help….truly the folks at Pastoris failed to keep up their end of the bargain. DISGUSTING! Wish I could upload a picture of the calamari….or rather the slop that failed to qualify as decent food! It was supposed to be honey citrus glazed with roma tomato’s it was a pile of much, the crispy batter was melded into a bunch of tomato paste the i supposed was the romas, but where was the honey and citrus glaze…um more like baby puke or diarrhea. The tuna slider had too much sauce and was undercooked (though it was ahi & could get away seared only). The scrod was obviously from a frozen pack with a strange coating on it that the fish pulled away from. The sauce on the scrod was a concoction of flavors that should NEVER happen The mashed potato’s were under seasoned/bland. The pork chop was also clearly preforzen then WAY overcooked and coated in oil, lots of oil. Even the vegetables (how you can screw that up even I don’t know) were bad…broccoli was mush like baby food, carrot hard as rocks. And even pasta (again no idea how you can mess that up) was bland! Your supposed to salt the water people…basic stuff here!
There were crisp green apples on the table & seeing as they are less than a mile away from an apple orchard I guessed that’s be the freshest best thing I ‘d eat there (only slightly concerned how many sticky fingers touched it that day) only to discover they were FAKE! Seriously….Robert Irvine would be so disappointed!
I didn’t complain because I hate confrontation but I paid 60$ for the crap (and we didn’t drink alcohol) and left after having only a couple bites. We ate ravioli at home later!

Food was nothing special and the service was terrible. I believe the restaurant must have been under staffed upon my visit because it was a long wait in between visits.
