We chose a beautiful Sunday morning in rainy New York to go out for brunch with friends, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. There were six of us, and we were given a lovely round table where it was comfortable to sit and talk. The restaurant was full, yet the hostess greeted us with a smile and kindly showed us to our table, even though two of our friends were running late. That was especially nice, knowing how strict New York restaurants usually are about seating incomplete parties.

Each of us ordered something different, and everyone was happy with their choice. I had an omelet with Gruyère — soft, delicate, and absolutely delicious. It came with perfectly roasted potatoes, cooked in a special way that made them extra flavorful. My friends had salmon Benedicts, Norwegian eggs, and croque-madame — everything was excellent.

We especially remember the French toast with strawberries and cream — heavenly! And for dessert, we shared profiteroles with ice cream, which were out of this world.

The staff kept refilling our coffee and making sure our glasses were never empty. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, full of people and energy. Even the restroom caught our attention — surrounded by shelves of wine bottles, it felt stylish and unique.

We left feeling like part of a fashionable New York crowd — full, happy, and already planning to come back.

It was a good experience. The servers were great and very attentive. Expect a wait during busy times even with a reservation.
The food was nice and was served quickly.
The toilets had some fun decorations in them.
The booths made the restaurant seem quite private even when the whole restaurant was full. There was no difficulty hearing conversations.

I dined here plenty of times and this is the first time I am writing a review. The food is always excellent as well as the service. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of there other locations throughout the states. People watching at there outdoor section is great. All together they offer a great brunch during the daytime and a very solid typical french dinner at night. Definitely give it a try

This restaurant is very conveniently located in the meatpacking district and the interior is amazingly decorated. We went on a Wednesday evening with a reservation and the restaurant got pretty packed around 6pm. We tried their beef tartare, sautéed spinach, scallops, escargot and mussels with chips. Our favourite was the escargot, it came with freshly baked baguette for you to dip in the buttery garlic parsley sauce. Overall everything was good but nothing hit the spot, hence the 4 stars.

A cozy warm place serving some amazing food. I went to Pastis for a hearty brunch with a friend. We shared an eggs Norwegian, a corque Madame and a sticky toffee pudding. Coming to the savory dishes. Both were outstanding. The eggs were cooked to perfection in both and seasoned very well. Not to mention both the hollandaise and bechamel sauces on the eggs Norwegian and croque Madame were delicious. Completing the two dishes was a breeze and a feast! We ended on a sweet note with the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. A few note here would be that the sauce with the pudding was overly sweet. The beautifully made toffee pudding was overwhelmingly sweet thanks to it. And also the ice cream had icicles which lends a very off-putting texture to dish. So we just took the pudding out of the syrupy mess and enjoyed just by itself. Along with this we also had a St Germain Spritz which was a perfect effervescent accompaniment to the dishes. Coming to the service, it is absolutely impeccable and without fault. The servers are amazingly efficient and serve with a smile. I am looking forward to trying out the dinner and lunch offers this great place has to offer next. Highly recommend the place!

They opened on Christmas day.
Foods are great.
I hope sourdough bread could have been toasted.
Onion soup was nice, especially in winter.
Fresh oyster was a bit disappointed. It is so small for the price. Taste was refreshing.
Roast chicken is… chicken… well cook. The sauce was yummy.

I went here with a friend on Friday morning around 10:15. The vibe and atmosphere was great. My only issue was our server, I believe his name was Gerard, though I can’t be certain as we only saw him twice the whole time we were there. Once to take our purser and then to hand us the bill at the end. From the minute we sat down, it seemed like we were a bother to him. He was extremely short and even after thanking him, we weren’t met with any responses. Not even a smile or a “You’re welcome”. When we were ordering, my friend asked for their opinion on the turkey sausage vs the pork sausage. He huffed and said, “I mean…”. He was obviously annoyed at the question and just shrugged, giving us a blank stare. We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt by acknowledging that it might have been an off day for him, but then we noticed he was beyond chatty and friendly with the table next to us. It was our first time at this location and we were so excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the interaction dampened it. It also felt like a slap in the face to then receive a bill suggesting a 25% tip. Although, of course, we still tipped.

Other than that, everything else was perfect. The rest of the staff all had smiles and it seemed as if everyone had a pep in their step. Really nice to see as we both work in the food industry and know how difficult it can be sometimes. The food portions were really generous while still being delicious. We both ordered pancakes and loved how fluffy they were! The cappuccino I had was also very tasty. The prices were fair for everything we ordered. Overall, I’d consider going back.

Arrived around 2 pm for a late lunch. Had to wait 15 min to get a table outside but the waiting time was spend ordering a delicious drink at the bar.
When seated we ordered a Steak sandwich and a Bar steak. It was plenty of food and it tasted delicious.
We had to share the profiteroles for dessert and they were also delicious.
Location is nice and food great.

Went there for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely phenomenal! The food was some of the best I have ever tasted. The sticky toffee pudding was 5+ stars. Service was impeccable. If you go for Thanksgiving, make sure to get reservations as soon as they open up. The place was absolutely packed.
