I tried this new restaurant today with my wife and grandson. We ordered torre de mariscos, shrimp cocktail, and carnitas and steak huaraches. My grandson ordered kids taco which he liked very much and ate all of it. It was so good that it took me back home to Mexico, the taste is authentic! The portions are also very big! The customer services here is the best I have experienced so far.

The food was very tasty and filling. There were a lot of options, but I ended up getting their Huarache con carne. Their service was really nice, the workers were attentive to our needs and checked up on us once in a while, it really made the atmosphere nice and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend to go and visit.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat before we headed back home as we came up to Napa outlets to walk around. We initially looked at the market next door but decided it would be best to have a place to sit with our kids so we came here. I was expecting a somewhat hole in the wall type mexican place but soon as I saw the inside it read more American mexican to me. Don’t get me wrong, they did nice on the atmosphere, but we’ve visited many Mexican restaurants, and always are searching for authentic Mexican food. The service was friendly! And the hibiscus mint agua frescas we ordered were good! The food was fine, my husband wasn’t impressed by his huarache, he thought it there would be more to it for $20, and I found my plate of carne Asada to be fine. My son had a kids quesadilla with carne Asada.
I think the food was alright. Not amazing or interesting enough for us to come back especially for the price.
We spent $83 including tip and I can guarentee we have had better Mexican for cheaper and also for that price. Perhaps it’s just the location in Napa. I 100% understand food costs are on the rise, we just unfortunately didn’t think this was worth it.
However if you’re looking for something a bit different or a spin on your traditional Mexican food and don’t mind spending a bit more, then this is a place you should give a try.

After the Andrea Bocelli concert, our group of 16 was looking for a place open late — and we stumbled upon Habaneros, this incredible taqueria tucked away in the valley. We arrived around midnight and, despite the darker setting and humble vibe, we decided to stay. Best decision of the night.
We ordered quesadillas, molitos, tacos, bolitos — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I had a michelada that instantly brought back memories of my trip to Mexico City ten years ago.
To be honest, I’m not usually a fan of Mexican food in Canada, as I’ve lost that emotional connection over the years — but Habaneros reignited my love for real, authentic Mexican cuisine.
What made the night even more special was chatting with the owner, a kind and passionate man from Mexico City, who made us feel right at home. The service was simple and warm, the kind that makes you feel like you’re at a friend’s house.
If you’re anywhere near Napa Valley, do yourself a favor and drop by Habaneros after 6 PM. Bring your friends, your family, and enjoy an honest, delicious Mexican meal that’s full of heart. Highly recommended.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. I’m disappointed in the small amount of food for the price. I ordered 3 quesebirria tacos, a side of rice nachos for my friend and two Agua fresca. We spent 61 dollars. It was ok food but very small portions. I’m not sure if I will be going back. I had called them to take an order for pick up it was taken then went and they said they didn’t take the order. So I reordered, and they forgot the rice. The rice wasn’t what I expected, not much flavor to it. The Agua frescas were in very small cups. The quesabirrias didn’t have very much cheese in them. It was more like a snack for a high price.

Habernos just opened around the corner from home and we are thrilled! It’s the 3rd restaurant in this location, and is by far the best! Food was great, waitstaff/management friendly and helpful.
