Besides big portions of pasta in a variety of sauces, this no-frills eatery serves pizza & panini.

I had really high hopes going in but left disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff was very professional and quick. The table side pasta cooking was fun to watch… But the good really wasn’t very good. The appetizers were the best last. We got the mozzarella triangles and stuffed mushrooms. Then we got the chicken Marsala which was rubbery and rather bland. The signature pasta shells which tasted like a microwaveable meal. The signature table side pasta with Hennessy reduction which wasn’t bad but certainly wasn’t worth the $38 and was drowning in a pool of oil at the bottle of the dish. And then the spaghetti carbonara which was…. Okay. For the $230 price tag for everything… It was incredibly disappointing.

I wish I had taken photos of everything we ordered — it was all absolutely delicious! We started with the fried calamari and fried mozzarella, both of which were amazing. The sauce they served was so good that I wish they’d jar it and sell it!
There were seven of us, including my sleeping toddler in a stroller, and the staff went above and beyond by helping my husband carry the stroller down the stairs to our table. Every entrée was as fantastic as we expected. I would highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors — you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious and fresh, made-to-order pasta dishes. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. We walked it off on the way to a show after a trip to St. Patrick’s. Lovely bread. Clean and fancy establishment but not pretentious. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.

Loved it – I had the rigatoni broccoli rabe and sausage, which contained generous amounts of both very tasty sausage and broccoli. But that was nothing compared to the
Nutella pizza and banana dessert – it really was a full size pizza base covered in Nutella, plus the banana. I had to be carried out 🙂 Highly recommended.

Best meal ever!
The pasta is homemade and the Tiramisu is made in house. The Rigatoni, Chicken Parmesan, meatballs and Tiramisu were very delicious!
My blood orange margarita was very tasty. The restaurant is a fairly intimate and cozy with great service. It’s in a great location, we got to Rockefeller center in a short time. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Pasta Lovers NYC is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet elegant atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring our meal was seamless and enjoyable.
The highlight of our visit was definitely the lasagna. It was perfectly made—layers of tender pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese melded together beautifully. Every bite was comforting and flavorful, truly a standout dish. The portion was generous, making it great value for the quality.
Besides the lasagna, the fresh bread with olive oil was a wonderful start, and the pasta dishes were cooked just right. Whether you’re heading to a Broadway show or just craving authentic Italian, Pasta Lovers delivers with delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
This review is based on multiple positive experiences and mentions of the lasagna being delicious and well-prepared at Pasta Lovers NY

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Underwhelming food. If you’re looking for the authentic American Italian food experience, this is still a great choice, but the flavours just weren’t there.

Better late than never for this review! Especially for these guys, where I was fortunate enough to duck in on Christmas Eve heading back from the Rockefeller Center tree crowd, to find an absolutely brilliant meal, in a true New York City classic. Sat at the bar & shared my time with a really good mix of locals & visitors, and some excellent bar staff, all making for a great vibe.
Food was flavorful & in plentiful portions. Cannot recommend enough the homemade Italian dressing for the house salad. Even brought a second one back with me! Went classic with the lasagna & was oh so satisfied. And yep, Tiramisu. (I loved it, but I confess I ALWAYS love tiramisu lol. It was damned good, though.)
Was happily taken good care of with warm & friendly service by a couple of great guys behind the bar; these cats know their wine & their whiskey, can have a laugh with anyone, and can see when to give a little space.
So! This place is legit. Many worry – rightfully so! – about getting suckered in by an overpriced, soulless, superficial tourist trap version of a “true” NYC Italian place. This ain’t that. Drop by, settle in, and enjoy. Salud!
