Excellent meal, wine selection, dessert! Flavors were wonderful (one of the best butternut squash raviolis I have had – tasted the squash, nicely seasoned – and the Alfredo sauce was fabulous – light and perfectly composed, not a cloyingly overblown, thick gravy). Lovely garlic bread and fresh side salad. Great wine suggestion. Tiramisu was wonderful. Kylie (sp?) was lovely waitstaff. Thank you!

We were lucky enough to have six people in our party so we were able to have a reservation set up. You do need to have five or more for a reservation. Otherwise it is first come first serve and there was a line at the door at 4:40… they filled up very quickly. We had a wonderful table situated in a semi-private room.. service was excellent, the wait staff checked in with us constantly. A big basket of garlic bread was brought out most entrees are served with bread and salad. The salad was very fresh… our table enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan lasagna, chicken, piccata, and the braised beef ravioli.. we enjoyed all of the dishes…

We had the pleasure of dining at The Pasta House on our girls trip recently. The food was spectacular! The drinks were delicious. We would have loved to give this a 5 star rating but things fell short on the service side of things. Most of the staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Our main server was very unpleasant. We had a 7:30 reservation and we were rushed from the get go. There was never a “welcome” or a smile. We were sat at our table and asked what we wanted to order for drinks before any of us even received menus. She came back within 2 minutes and abruptly asked if we wanted to order. We stated that we would like to get a couple appetizers in, which seemed to annoy her. Within a minute she retuned “Are you ready to order now?” I’ve had better service at a diner. I have been in the service industry my entire life and I do not know how this woman can keep her job. She never offered her name so we had to ask for it, which I will share with the restaurant if they reach out to me.

The BEST place to eat in Pinetop. The food is excellent. The restaurant is charming. The family who owns and runs it is so special. They work hard to provide amazing service. I can’t recommend this place enough! Tip: If you have a party of 5 or more make a reservation.

Wow! This was our first time at the Pasta House. The food was amazing! Their sauces were perfect, especially the Alfredo. The bread was homemade, soft, warm and so good. The staff and servers were professional, kind and knew how to serve in a 5-star restaurant environment. They offer an awesome selection of wine. I have found my most favorite restaurant in the White Mountains. Thank you Pasta House.

This was probably one of the most overrated restaurants I have been to in a ridiculously long time. I will start with the meal. I ordered the scallop special, a drink and dessert and the total after tax and tip (they included the tip since a table of 5) was $106. The picture below is what I got served and it was bland. It looks like a bigger serving as it is zoomed in but that is all on one half of the plate. The server who brought our plates out offered pepper, which thank goodness as it needed something. There was a jar of the pizza parmesan on the table, which helped a little. One of the other patrons at our table ordered a side of Alfredo sauce that we all ended up drenching our food in and it barely helped the lack of flavor. I am trying not to come across as snarky, but I wasted $$$ on something that I ended up not eating. And no, our waitress never came back to ask us how we liked our food after bringing the side of Alfredo sauce and before the check. I would say the quality/taste of food was right around fast food Italian (think Fazolis). Even the bread they brought out was cold and bland.
The service, was almost non existent. If it wasn’t for the servers that brought our dishes I would say don’t bother. The waitress was rude from the start. She was very short with her responses and her attitude came across as if we were bothering her. Even though we had a reservation for 630pm, it seemed like she was ready to go from the moment we sat down. We had to get clarity on the check as the receipt was handwritten and we could not decipher what was written down and the correct amounts to be paid. The waitress really didn’t like that and actually took a breath and looked at us as if we were asking too much. I would think if you want to be paid correctly you would be more accommodating. Also, when paying the waitress said something along the lines of hope you enjoyed the evening and I said not really. And she didn’t respond or question and to be honest I didn’t want to be there any longer.
Only saving grace was the two young servers assisting that night. Should have known to question the restaurant as it was pretty dead on a Friday evening. I have no problem spending money at a restaurant were it is deserved and like supporting small businesses. This place definitely missed the spot and will never return. And it did not make the list of recommendations for out of towners that I will give.

Nice Trip up to ShowLow and decided to have a Nice dinner out. ️
Pasta House is a Classy restaurant!
The wait to be seated wasn’t bad and we were able to have a nice conversation with a local couple !
We were seated in a little corner, which was perfect gave us a little privacy and felt intimate.
Hubby ordered the Chicken Pomodoro (2nd Pic), he loved it!
I was in the mood for Lasagna… So I ordered the Combo (1st Pic) which came with Lasagna, Manicotti and Stuffed Shell… My dish was Awesome! The sauce was probably the best tomato-based sauce I’ve ever had. My favorite was the Manicotti, then Lasagna.
Our meal also came with salad (3rd Pic) and garlic bread (4th Pic).
Hubby said the tomatoes in the Salad tasted fresh from a garden, so we figured they probably get them from a local farm. Maybe that’s why the Sauce is so amazing!
We will be visiting again for sure!

10.25$ for this salad and 17.50$ for this ravioli, only came with 5 ravioli. Tasted alright, maybe better in person but we did take out. Seems overpriced.

Wow, is the only word I can use to describe this place.
Everything was amazing from the food to the service, not once was my water not filled.
The tiramisu was amazing and a must have!

The service was very good with one exception. We ordered the special (a filet with Gorgonzola) and the chicken piccata. Both tasted great. The average entrée is about $28, so when the bill came with the filet priced at $68 we were shocked. The server never mentioned the price, nor did they disclose it to the table next to us. I should have to ask as the customer??
I get that specials usually cost more, but nearly triple the average price in Pinetop is excessive. The steak wasn’t oversized or unique enough to justify it. The lack of transparency felt misleading. Because of that, we won’t be back.
