I really like this Italian restaurant. When you walk in, there is an open bar/counter to the right. You can see into the kitchen where the chefs are cooking. And it’s very open airy space, so you’re not confined into tiny rooms.

I saw the bottle of oil on the table and then knew that there must be bread that would accompany it… Excited to try fresh bread, I asked for it and it arrived promptly. And we were not disappointed. It was warm also.
The food is pretty amazing. Everyone in my family got pasta. But of different kinds. The pasta is home made, and there are a lot of choices. It was not very loud at all. But we went on a Sunday night.
We thought we had a reservation for Saturday. And we arrived on Saturday night at 8 PM. And it was so hopping, so you would definitely have to have a reservation. Which makes sense because it’s such a good place to eat.
It may have been also noisier to eat on a Saturday night. But i’m not a hundred percent sure we are standing near the door and there were a lot of very excited people. So don’t rule it out. It just depends on your preferences and you may just have to take a chance. So you need to think about that when you make a reservation, whether you’d rather skip a night. Go a different time and possibly have a better dining experience…?
The sunday night atmosphere it was much more chill. Our waitress was very attentive. We could ask for modifications. We even enjoyed ourselves so much even after finishing our main dishes, we chatted amongst ourselves not realizing how much time had passed. We ended up being the last customers and then ended up closing the restaurant. They actually were waiting for us to leave and were kind enough to let us stay a little bit longer while they cleaned up. And we just made it in time, and they let us have a dessert even though the kitchen was getting ready to close.
The dessert was so good.
SO: make a reservation and you’ll eat great food and expect that you might need some extra time. Because you’ll get caught up in the the awesome dishes, the conversation, the wonderful bread and then you want to have some time for dessert. So expect a good evening.
We did want to go back, but it closed for the season. So being there in the winter does have its drawbacks, but it is definitely worth going to while you’re on vacation. I do not know if they are open for lunch. But if you can do that, try that as well, it is worth the hype. When we went on Saturday night and it was crowded. There were people of all ages, so it’s definitely good.Even for the young ones (late teens)! Early 20s (bringing their dates)!

I’ve been to Pasta Beach Newport three times now and it has easily become one of my favorite spots. I’ve visited with friends, my wife, and our families, and every single time has been a great experience.

The service is what really keeps us coming back. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes such a difference. The food is consistently delicious and it is always hard to choose between the pasta and the pizza. The pepperoni pizza is a classic and never disappoints, and the pasta dishes we’ve tried have all been great.

Highly recommend Pasta Beach Newport for the food, service, and overall experience.

The service and atmosphere was good and everyone was nice. We got salad, confit potatoes, cacio e pepe and creme brulee. The cacio e pepe was okay. Maybw it was because we requested to get all the stuff together, so the pasta started clumping up as it cooled. Other than that, everything was pretty good!

We came here for an early Friday dinner. The carbonara was amazing. The watermelon salad was very good. The vodka pasta was good but didn’t taste like typical vodka sauce that I was expecting. My daughter enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. I was not a fan of the ricotta dip or the meatballs.

The decor inside is very nice. The pizza was completely soggy and oily (as you can see in the picture), the pasta was very bland/under seasoned/overcooked considering the price, waste of money. On top of that, the specified complementary bread on the menu wasn’t served to us until we asked about it, and recieved a sigh from the server for asking, but it seemed our server Emily was capable of providing it to the tables around us. Mind you they weren’t even busy, we were like the 5th table there.

Pretty good experience! Some of the food fell a little flat but the sausage and smoked mozzarella pasta was incredible. Service was good and attentive. Atmosphere was a little cluttered feeling, but maybe that’s because it was during the day. Would go back again just for that pasta dish.

Made reservations and we were running late and the host/manager still held our table! I’m forever grateful for that! I raved about this please since I visited the one in Providence, but wanted my family to enjoy the Newport location. It did not disappoint! It is very cozy and cute inside, and the service top notch. The food of course is the highlight. It was rich in flavor and prepared very fast. We all loved the fresh bread served in the beginning and the pasta selections. Thank you everyone for a great experience and being so accommodating!

Tasty Italian dishes, but on the higher end of the price range. The appetizer of Burrata was amazing and the lasagna was delicious and served in a huge portion. The food was fast, but service could have been better.

On a virtually non-stop eating and drinking tour during my first ever visit to Newport. A local friend recommended Pasta Beach. We didn’t have a reservation, but there was room for us at the back bar. I ordered the pasta carbonara, and we enjoyed a very nice Barolo. Delicious. Megan behind the bar was helpful and friendly. It was a great recommendation.

Pasta Beach was recommended by a good friend of ours who had heard great things about it but had not yet visited. We decided to check it out one evening, arriving around 8 p.m. with hopes of finding a spot at the bar.

The restaurant was bustling. All the tables, both indoor and outdoor, were occupied. However, we were pleased to find plenty of seats available at the two bars. We chose to sit at the back bar, which had chairs with backs—a nice touch for comfort.

The two bartenders were fantastic, expertly managing the entire restaurant with impressive efficiency. Their recommendations were spot on. We tried the pasta with clams and the lasagna. The clam dish was exceptionally fresh, with superb flavor. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lasagna, describing it as “real good.”

We stayed at the Viking Hotel, making the walk to Pasta Beach a delightful evening stroll.

Overall, Pasta Beach is a must-visit if you want great service and delicious food around Bellevue Ave. The lively atmosphere and attentive bartenders made our dining experience memorable.
