Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I have never had hooters before so we decided to come to the fox valley location to try it with our 10 month old son. We got sat almost immediately which was amazing! But the bad experience started happening after we ordered our drinks. I got an ultimate margarita and my husband got a Pepsi it was about 6 minutes later when I got my margarita but still no Pepsi for my husband. The server Meave came and asked if we were ready to order I ask her if we could get the Pepsi we were waiting for. After that we ordered our appetizer and food it wasn’t a long wait for either which was nice. My food was gross! The boneless was hard and there was no mild sauce just grease, the bone in wings were small but they tasted fine as well as the fries. The entire time we were there we got checked on by our server 3 times but I had to look and make eye contact with her so she could come over and it wasn’t busy at all! I was annoyed and upset my food wasn’t good so I wanted to leave I asked for the check which she brought 5 minutes later then we waited another 10 for her to pick up the check but she didn’t so I went up to the front and asked if I could pay with another server then she asked who my server was I then pointed at my server who was standing there looking at the cooks doing absolutely nothing! This was a terrible 1st experience and will never becoming back to hooters again. I will definitely be calling corporate for a refund!

It’s been a while since we’ve been to hooters but after a quick mall trip we thought it would be a perfect stop for dinner.

Our waitress was nice but we were left without enough plates or forks with our appetizer and by the time she came back to check on us we had already finished our food by me sharing a fork with my daughter. We would have ordered our entrees at the same time as our appetizer but as she took our appetizer order she closed her book and quickly walked away. It was not busy but it did seem she may have been going back to her phone by the hostess stand. Not sure. My husband waited a while for another beer finally he made eye contact to get another while she was over there.

We ordered our food, 50 wings and a burger. The food came and the wings were so small it looked like it came from a Cornish hen. We haven’t been in a while but it seems they have downgraded their wings because in the past I remember them being big and meaty.. these were sad. Disappointing because I would have rather just gone to Wingstop and saved $100. Sadly I don’t think we will be eating at hooters again.

We went here to watch a game and made a reservation for 14 over the phone. When we arrived, they said no reservation existed, which really killed the mood. Surprisingly, the place wasn’t busy, especially with such a big playoff game on the line. They did seat us, but we were split across four different tables and told that our checks had to be combined into one, even though we weren’t seated together. The food was good as always, but they were a bit stingy with the sauce—the wings weren’t coated like they are at other locations.

I ordered from hooters for my first time because recently my daughter came home with their buffalo shrimp and it was very good. She went again and I wanted shrimp and some wings thinking the food quality would be like the last time and boy was I wrong. My wings and shrimp were dry, no sauce because somehow all the sauce managed to escape the food containers and created a puddle at the bottoms of the bag. I didn’t notice it at first until I was done managing to sauce it myself to eat some and not waste my money. I lifted the bag and saw how greasy the bottom of the bag was and a big greasy wet stain on my white comforter and bedsheet. The same thing happened to my daughter ‘s bf as he was the one picking up . I had two sauces and one wet one dry rub and my lemon pepper container confused me because no one told him that the lemon pepper wings were labeled ranch. I couldn’t call to complain because they were closed, I made a complaint online and just got a thank you for my survey feedback . And no one contacted to follow up since it is a franchise. If this is an on going issues, I will not go back to hooters. Oh and also, my reward points weren’t calculated and I never received an itemized final receipt to submit for points.

I appreciated the owner responding to my review and was hoping to come back and give a positive update. After the owner wanting me to contact him through email, I sent a message to the emailed that was provided by the owner on 2/10/2026 and unfortunately I have yet to receive a follow up email, phone call, or text. I am really big on customer service and rather resolve the issue before giving a bad review. Between me and my son in luv’s food purchase, might as well say we wasted over $100 that night. I can honestly say that although the food was not up to par, I’m more disappointed in their customer service that had me email them only to not get a response to resolve my issue. I could’ve given some really good feedback to hopefully inspire the owner to implement it in their training.

The worst service I have ever received at a Hooters restaurant. Anyone that knows my family knows that Hooters is one of our favorite restaurants to go and grab a bite. We spend lots of money every time we visit. We visited the Aurora location for my son’s birthday. We had a server Juliana who didn’t care about her customers and neither did the manager Ciara. I told her that I would contacting cooperate and that they would receive a review. We arrived at Aurora Hooters location at 7:30pm on October 25, 2025. We were seated and placed our orders. The adults sat at one table (6ppl). The young adults our kids sat at another table near the door (4ppl). Our kids ordered their appetizers as soon as they were seated just as we did. We always put in our full order at the same time and just have our appetizers come out first. At 8:13pm we received our fried pickles. By 8:40pm our children had eaten their appetizers and main meal as we were still waiting. We noticed three other families come in be seated in our area by Julianna. Some had ate and left the restaurant. She noticed our table was looking around and had got her attention she came over and said that the cooks were playing around in the back. She went to check during that time I got up to pay for my children food because it was his birthday they were meeting friends. When I was in line Julianna asked the manager to go to the adults table because someone asked for her. That’s when she yelled what table with a very nasty attitude I then told her what table and said we have been waiting a very long time. I get back to the table and let her know that we are going to leave. It’s 9:10 we never got our food we will go somewhere else. They both leave the table and come back with cold food packed in bags with grease all over and on top of the boxes. At 9:13 they we are still waiting on the checks I ask the manager for the check she says she didn’t give you all the check. She comes back and tries to offer a credit that she will leave on her boss desk for next time. I wouldn’t go here unless you want cold food or tell them you are leaving just to even get your food. I’m contacting cooperate also.

The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Even though it was busy, the staff did a great job ensuring orders were served in a timely manner. The new sauces were nothing short of amazing—I initially thought I’d enjoy the Mango Habanero the most, but the Honey Hot ended up being my favorite. The chicken tenders were packed with just the right amount of sauce, striking a perfect balance between sweet and spicy.

Emma was my server, and she was fantastic—great customer service, attentive, and consistently checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling. If you’re looking to switch things up, I highly recommend trying their chicken tenders—you won’t be disappointed!

Never got my food…

After almost 1 hour of waiting for wings. The waitress said it would be another 15 min for the order to be ready. That would have been over 1 hour wait for 4 orders of wings and fries. After speaking with the manager, she said they could have the food our “right away”.
If that was the case. There should be no reason why it would take over 1 hour in the first place. In the end we left hungry and very disappointed.
