As the lunch place finder for a nonprofit organization, i went to Pasta Avanti and spoke with the owner Mario and asked would he open for lunch for us.
He readily agreed! What a delightful time we had! Food was wonderful, service was good. But the best was Mario’s 87 year old mom singing to us!
We were a group of 45.
Mario…..thank you! The ladies loved you, mama and your establishment!

Pasta Avanti is our favorite Italian food in El Paso. We just can’t pick one dish from the menu ; they are all so good.We know the food is homemade and it always comes out piping hot from the oven. It’s worth the trip to come out to this friendly restaurant.

I enjoy coming here with my boyfriends family. They introduced pasta avanti to me and now it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in El Paso. Mario & his staff are wonderful and they always make us feel like family. Everything is amazing from the bread to the desserts. The pics don’t do them justice you need to go try them out for yourselves. & it tastes even better because my boyfriends dad pays for it all

Terrible microwaved junk. In advance both my wife and myself are Native New Yorkers and I am *Venetian . As a Birthday gift we went here a few years ago. Horrible the food was low quality and Microwaved. What violated me more than the microwaved junk at the Italia place on Mesa Street is that Pasta Avanti had *Istria listed on the menu, I inquired and the waitress looked at me as if I were speaking to her in Chinese. I did point this word as it appeared on the menu and she still appeared puzzled. First last and only time patronizing. The food is microwaved.

We were yelled at by the Chef! So this place was recommended to us, so we tried it. We asked for mushrooms on our spaghetti in the half and half meal only to be confronted the chef/cook and told he could ONLY do that on whole orders. We of course said we would pay an upcharge…..but that only made him even more irate and raised his voice again! That is no way to treat a guest! We paid for our appetizer and beverages and left. I guess he doesn’t really want business. The site says customer service priority we did not feel priority I have never been to a Italian restraint that could not add mushrooms. We were very sorry we came. There are definitely other local owned restraints that the chef is a chef. Very disappointing. Service was excellent it is a shame the so called chef cannot chop mushrooms or garlic for the side spaghetti. Maybe others@are treated with more tesoect wd are long term el paso professionals that have always supported local businesses.

Looking for an amazing Italian place in El Paso? Look no further! Everything was on point! We had the calamari, the eggplant Parmesan, the Maria Elena delight shrimp, and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly, the flavors were amazing, and the atmosphere feels like family. The owner was so kind and welcoming. Definitely give it a try!
