Went in for takeaway but decided to eat in there was a table free got lucky advice you book. A good choice on the menu i went for my favourite in other restaurants, the prawn puree, normaly the prawns are served inside the puree but here they have added there own twist. And wow a feast for the eyes and the taste buds amazing. Not an easy dish to tackle with cutlery so hand in traditional style. Amazing. I also enjoyed the mango lasse
As my drink a little again there own twist that added presentation. Care is taken here in flavors as well as presentation . Main course the chicken Baryani. Tender aromatic ,had my taste buds jumping for joy. what you can’t eat they will happily pack it for you to takeaway with you.

The best Indian meal we have had for quite some time. We had Goan chicken curry and Chicken balti. Both were delicious and flavoursome.
The staff were very helpful and didn’t rush us when ordering. Definitely worth a visit.

Staff were exceptional. Very polite. Atmosphere very calm and inviting. Food and presentation was outstanding.There was no rush to vacate the table. We had poppadoms, starters and mains and have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. And a big shout out to Rubl who looked after our interests.

We have come down from London for a weekend stay at The Crown Manor House Hotel, we were mostly recommended this restaurant for dinner and WOW we were so pleased! I genuinely couldn’t recommend it more. Firstly the food was outstanding, the best Indian food I have had in the UK by far! The staff are so friendly even let us have a beer with them as we waited for a table, took our order so our food came just as we sat down. A very friendly team and and all round great experience. We will come back to the New Forest for this place alone! Thank you so much guys!

We would give A passage to India 6 stars if we were able to. We had a takeaway late last year and then decided to book to eat in the restaurant on Christmas Eve. We have tonight picked up an Indian for a take away treat and decided that we had to leave a review. Credit where credit is due! The staff are beyond friendly, helpful and don’t make you feel rushed out. You feel valued by them all. A couple of times we asked for something a little off the menu and there was no hesitation….it was on our table with the rest of the food. Tonight I was handed a little bottle of prosescco as a little gift with our meal. It is the small touches that make the biggest impact on a customer. The food is genuinely outstanding. Taste, quality and quantity is always second to none. A lovely clean restaurant, wonderful staff and extremely tasty food. Thank you to all of you at A Passage to India. We will be back very soon.

Best South Coast Indian food! So unbelievably tasty! I have tasted a lot of Indian food in the south and I think these were the best. Excellent vegetarian and meat catering for me and my mum. So silky delicious! Such wonderful, warm, welcoming, and friendly staff full of spirit! And they did such a beautiful display for my birthday in their birthday special! Highly recommend their brilliant fine dining experience through Passage to India.

We have lived in this area for many years and this is the best Indian food with the most succulent meats and delicious sauces in the New Forest.
The staff are most professional, attentive and friendly.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff were so incredibly friendly, accommodated our table on short notice and were so helpful with suggestions – the venison bhuna is sublime. If you are in the area I would make the effort to come here! Big thank you to Rubel and the whole team!
