This restaurant was recommended by a friend, we had high expectations coming in after our favorite restaurant was closed for good.
We didn’t need a reservation, there was plenty of sitting.
We loved the comfortable booths, the service was excellent.
From the mixed appetizers to the tikka Masala, the Nan bread. Everything was superb.
The flavors would explode in your mind and they taylor the level of spiciness to each client. It’s a must try if you like Indian food.
The mango lassi was delicious!

When you think of the best meal you’ve ever enjoyed, most would describe a dish prepared by their grandmother’s hands—a recipe passed down through generations. Tradition is only preserved if the baton is passed to someone willing to run with all their might toward the next person in line.
That is exactly what Borhan Ahmed did with his mother Akther’s recipes. He carried those flavors in his heart, eventually inheriting his mother’s most prized possession: her recipe book. After leaving Bangladesh at the age of 17 and exploring four different continents, Borhan recognized that while every generation changes, the essence of flavor remains. He took it upon himself to learn the diverse profiles of his journeys and infuse them into his own unique formula.

Before establishing himself here in Naples, Borhan met his ‘secret ingredient’ in New York: his wife, Angela. She fell in love not just with him, but with the intoxicating biryanis and fragrant kormas he prepared in their tiny apartment kitchen.
‘The first time he cooked for me,’ Angela recalls with a smile, ‘I knew I was tasting something extraordinary; it wasn’t just food, it was poetry.’ Beyond her love for him, Angela saw a vision—she believed these recipes were a gift that needed to be shared with the world.

Established in Naples, Florida in 1992, this restaurant’s story is essential to understanding the experience. From the history to the plate, every detail feels purely intentional in all regards.

Now, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD!
This was our first time visiting, but it absolutely won’t be our last. The moment you walk through the doors, it feels like coming home. The ambiance is cozy, with soft, dim lighting and a front-of-house team that welcomes you with genuine warmth.
The next thing that hits you is the aroma—a perfect harmony of spices. It felt as though it was specifically designed to set the tone for what was to come: a meal prepared with pure intention

Heres what we tried:
Garlic Naan You can never go wrong with this option, and they did everything right. It was the perfect balance of soft and crisp, with just the right amount of savory garlic.

Chicken Korma Tender, boneless chicken braised in a velvety yogurt base infused with the earthy warmth of cumin and coriander.

The addition of garlic provided a subtle bite, while the slow-cooked potatoes absorbed every bit of the fragrant sauce.

Cabbage Bhaji A vibrant, light side dish of finely shredded cabbage sautéed with turmeric and spices. It offered a wonderful texture that complemented the richness of the main course.

Pilau Rice The perfect pairing for the meal—aromatic, fluffy, and infused with delicate spices that tied all the flavors together.

We can’t wait to return and try other combinations; this is officially one of our go-to spots. If you are looking for a true passage to India right here in Naples, FL—this is a must-try!

The butter chicken sauce tasted like plain cream, with no tomato flavor or spice, and the chicken was very dry—overall, unpleasant to eat. Honestly and sad to say, it was the worst butter chicken I’ve had. The lamb korma was delicious, but it didn’t look anything like the picture; the sauce was chunky rather than smooth. The lamb was nicely cooked. The naan and rice were average. They did provide a lot of naan in a portion. The staff seemed lovely, and the place itself was cute when we picked it up. I really wanted to love it, but there are much better options nearby for the same price.

First time trying Indian food and it was delicious! So many new flavors, every dish was good and I tried 4 different dishes while sharing with friends. Our friends LOVE this place that’s why we came here! Some of our favorite dishes are the chicken tikka masala, shrimp tandoori, butter chicken, and the garlic naan. Food takes a little extra time due to quality control so sit back relax and enjoy the dimly lit atmosphere, it will be worth the wait!

Incredibly tasty! Well worth the random stop. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful on guiding us thru the menu. I would say the final selection of food that we concluded on was well worth the experience and would highly recommend the stop. The waitress was extremely friendly and also added a nice touch with brining out a bottle of water with our glasses of water one of the things I really appreciate when dining out. Just shows that they are thinking ahead on the experience.

Yummy!!!! This was our first and not last visit to this restaurant. Everything was great. The service, the food, the food, the food, all very good. We ordered some dessert to go and have not had that yet but if it is anything like our dinner, I am sure it will be delicious. I am glad to have brought home leftovers.

Loved it!
It was our first time dining here. Everything was Delicious and our waitress was amazing.
Our waitress was excited to explain the menu and made suggestions for me being that I am a vegetarian.
The portions were huge and I absolutely wanted a To go box.
Sweetest part was when we seen our waitress running through the parking lot with my to go box I left on the table. She made my first experience… amazing.
Thank you!

Excellent service! We have no experience with Indian food so Nisha and Nadia were our wonderful hosts and gave us a chef selection of Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Massala, Biryani and Naan for the table. The food was so flavorful, I mixed the Tikka massala sauce on the Biryani rice and *chefs kiss* it was so good!

My 5 year old picky eater son devoured the Chicken Pakora appetizer so I don’t have pictures of that.

We will definitely return when in Naples!

Well…we intended on having dinner here, but we did not make it past the appetizers & drinks. We started with the layered bread, which was good. It was flaky & buttery, so a bit more flavorful than plain nan. We had soup, the Shabji soup, which was surprisingly bland. Lots of vegetables in a thin tomato broth, but quite underwhelming. Then we tried the mixed appetizer. It was a step down from fried bar food. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The onion bajhi tasted like limp, thin, unseasoned onion rings. At least there was some consistency..the other veggie items included were just fried & tasteless as well. I had a mango mojito, which I’m pretty sure was just mango juice, with a slight hint of the container it been sitting in..an odd after taste. With so many amazing spices available, we were looking for impressive memorable food..unfortunately it was memorable but not in the way that we had hoped. The server was nice & checked on us regularly, which was a positive note.

Came here on Valentine’s Day and this place was great. Our server had great recommendations since it was our first time and she was very sweet. The food was really good, hadn’t had Indian food in awhile and this place was an authentic fresh start. Glad to know there is great Indian food in the area. Great job.
