Our favorite go-to take out place in Salem. They are always cheerful, always get the order correct, everything arrives hot and clean, they have ample portions, excellent basmati rice, meat is always high-quality, and the recipes are so tasty and delicious! Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, warm and no lines or wait times like other restaurants around Salem (esp during October). The service was fast and family style, everyone who works the dining area help you with your orders. Nice selection of wines. Vegetarian options! I ordered the aloo gobi with side of garlic naan and rice pudding for dessert. Definitely a hidden gem in Salem and would highly recommend. Look no further.

ordered online. Asked for upgrade the spice level but they just put chilies even green chilies. Chicken mash-room didn’t have a single piece of mashroom in it. Both the dishes Tasted awful. Quantity was good.

Food was really good! I ordered the vegetable marsala and it was exactly how I pictured it. Delicious! Had peas, potatoes, carrots and much more in it. Dip the naan bread into the sauce and it’s heavenly.

You can smell the toasting spices in the neighborhood…just follow your nose to tasty, aromatic Indian food. Consistently delish. Friendly staff. Luv the bartender, great Cosmo’s!

Looking forward to coming back! Great selection of Indian food, the naan bread was especially good. Atmosphere is nice. Only feedback is for service to clear plates as new ones come out to not overfill the table. Glad that plates weren’t cleared until the table was finished with our food.

Time and time and time again, this restaurant gives me consistently great Indian food. I’ve tried a variety of different things and everything is so fresh. Their chutneys and sauces are addictive, especilly the onion one. I recently got the shrimp biriyani and I was impressed with bot only how gigantic the shrimp were, but also there were about 8 in a order! Just delicious and I will always come back.

I ordered a lamb biriyani and a lamb kabob. The kabob was fresh, juicy and tasted good. But the biriyani was not at all even close to a biriyani. I mean who puts bell peppers, green peas, and mushrooms in biriyani? I specially mentioned to make it extra spicy but it was not at all spicy and tasteless. Even compared to the price, the portion size is very small compared to other places, they did not even fill the box properly. Very disappointed with the biriyani. If you want authentic biriyani this is not the place to be.

Really delicious high quality food. The staff was kind, the place was clean, and the food was good. The Bread Basket is a crowd pleaser. The seasoning are spot on. I really found no fault in this place. If you’re feeling Indian food and are in Salem, come here.
