Thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Paseo. Everything was high quality and great dishes. The fries were thick but a good crispy level. Tomatoes on wood fired toast were delicious. Duck confit was cooked very well. Very tender and moist and skin was cooked very well. Rainbow trout was so good. Very fresh and citrusy. Skin was also on point. Brown butter brownie is phenomenal. Get the scoop of ice cream on top, worth it.
Overall enjoyed the experience and will definitely be going back

Our first visit had me wondering why we haven’t tried Paseo sooner! We have tried many of the upscale restaurants in Louisville, and Paseo is now at the top of our list. The food was incredible. The carrots were so outstanding that if paired with potatoes or a grain, could easily make the perfect vegetarian entree. The rigatoni, the steak and the cocktails were all divine. Our server Drew was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and an absolute delight. Thank you Drew! My birthday dinner was perfection, we will definitely be back!

I’ve visited this restaurant twice, so I feel confident in giving it my honest opinion. Let me get straight to the point: I highly recommend skipping this place.
The menu is a complete mess. It tries to be tapas, but the selection is limited, and the dishes feel more like side dishes than small shareables. The entree menu is even shorter and lacks any real theme.
The wait staff is equally disappointing. They don’t seem to have any enthusiasm or energy.
The prices are fair, so I can’t complain about that. However, I ordered an espresso shot, and it was absolutely terrible.
The decor is nice, and with a new menu and wait staff, it could potentially work. But as it stands, I wouldn’t waste my time or money here.

Very cozy spot with nice vibes/decor — perfect for a drink and appetizer. The hummus brûlée was fantastic. We sat inside but the outside patio also looked amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best dinner experience, however. We ordered the duck entrée, dayboat fish (halibut) and the kale salad. Pretty overpriced for the quality in our opinion. The duck was not crispy, and when we were asked if we wanted more bread with the hummus, we assumed it was complimentary, but noticed we were charged for it upon receiving the receipt. They have a great wine selection, but the cocktails weren’t great. Overall great spot for drinks and vibes.

Had an incredible dining experience here recently! The food was exceptional and the service, even better. Our server, Jess, and the rest of the front of house crew made us feel very welcome and like old times friends. All of the wine pairings offered to us were divine and really added to the overall experience. Charred greens salad and polenta bowl were our favorites. Perfect date spot, would come back 10/10.

The food was pretty good, we started with the hummus appetizer and the texture and flavor was very good. The bread was also very good but pretty hard to mess that up. The atmosphere was excellent and something you look for in a nice dinner out in Louisville. The main course we split the land paella which was great, the beef was very tender and the rice and cheese blend was excellent. Pricing seemed fair and reasonable. We did wait in my opinion too long for our food, which our server and another women came over and apologized and told our party to let them know if we can do anything to make it up to us. But overall a pretty good spot, dont think I would seek out going in the future, but if asked to go I would happily say yes.

I will start on a positive note. The service was excellent! We were very well taken care of. Some of the food was very good. The hummus was delicious, and the octopus was very good. While the scallops were very good, the rest of the dish made no sense. They looked to be thrown on top of pita bread with a heavy puree that also didn’t blend well with the dish. The woodfire vegetables were served ice cold, I’m not sure if that was intentional or an oversight. The wagyu was very tasty as well, but maybe slightly under cooked. I’m hoping the kitchen just needs to find their stride and see what works over time. I will probably be back to see if they’ve improved.

We wandered in by chance and it was such a happy surprise. The space was chic and smelled of a wood burning oven. We sat at the bar where Lila made us an exceptional martini and guided us through the menu. Stracciatella cheese and tomato on toasted bread with pesto. Rigatoni with sausage and vodka sauce. I know it sounds simple but it was delicious. So much better than the “Italian “ restaurants in Louisville. Mike made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. And they were so fun. Can’t wait till the weather warms up to sit on the patio.

Paseo completely surprised me—in the best possible way. I’m usually not a big fan of pasta, especially red sauce dishes, but the rigatoni absolutely blew me away. It’s now something I can’t stop thinking about. The Pan Con Tomate, which sounds simple on paper, is truly to die for—the fire-roasted elements take the flavor to another level. Honestly, anything that touches the fire here seems to shine.
On top of the amazing food, our server Alejandro was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Paseo has officially earned a spot on my must-return list. Highly recommend.

Completely unbiased review:
Atmosphere was great, drinks were phenomenal, appetizers were stellar, and the hostess was an absolute gem – everything else was extremely disappointing.
Our server was decent enough, but took entirely too long to take/put in our order for both apps and mains. The restaurant was nearly empty when we ordered our main course, and it somehow took 45 minutes to procure rigatoni with shrimp and risotto with chicken – one entree came out cold and both were violently over-salted.
Would potentially return for drinks, but the apps are solidly overpriced for what you get.
